I hope this topic wasn't taken, as the search was not working goodly, anywho...Imagine you was in a car accident/fell off a high altitudinal distance/was raped/etc. Would you rather be A) FULLY paralyzed, not able to anything on your own, including speaking and going to the bathroom. You are an incurable vegetable. OR B.) Dead on sight/unplugged from life-support?Personally, I would choose death, because paralysis is essentially death, only longer, and you have to be aware that your normal life is completely fcuked.What do YOU think?

Paralysis, because you can still have an amazing life. Look at Stephen Hawking and Christopher Reeve.

honestly i'd like to say paralysis but in reality that would just suck. after living your whole life with the ability to move it would be way to depressing to live without it.death ftw!

I don't know if I specified, but I meant vegetable, full paralysis.Paralysis, because you can still have an amazing life. Look at Stephen Hawking and Christopher Reeve.

Yeah this guy is right. And likely represents most people's opinion as well. I vote he gets a mass quanity of DP/GPsYeah. For instance, if I were paraplegic I'd rather live, but if I were tetraplegic... I'd prefer death.

I'll definitely choose B.I 'll feel like I'm a burden to my family if I'm in a state of A. I don't want them to spend time taking care of me. Moreover, if it's A, quality of life is compromised. I'm more for quality than sanctity of life.

I prefer paralysis as it isn't that bad, you get to meet alot of interesting people plus you can still enjoy life. It can be fun in many ways as well.

death will be nice because you can't feel pain anymore unlike this paralysis thingy, it still suffering from stuff that would come at the next day.

I would chose paralysis, you can still have a great lift after have been paralysis.

I think a person can continue to live normally while be paralysed...But i don't think i'd like to live if i couldn't do anything on my own..So i would choose death

I don't think you read the question correctly..if you were FULLY top to bottom paralyzed with no possible way of regaining any mobility, speech, thought, everything. Would you rather stay like that or die.I would choose death. Because being paralyzed like that is basically like being dead, only you have a heartbeat. So you're just sitting there, taking up someone else's bed who could possibly be using it to actually like, Live.I think a person can continue to live normally while be paralysed...

Death, whilst paralyzed, you just sit their, not knowing what'll happen next, and knowing you can't do anything about it.
