I believe that death would be a much simpler solution for everyone around me. It's like this, at this point of life I haven't achieved anything particularly impressive, so there's really no point in keeping me alive for now. Plus I do not want to be a drain on society, my friends and family; the resources can be more effectively spent elsewhere. And if you want to get into more gruesome details, my organs can be put to better use after death as well.Of course, my answer may change when more important things come into my life, situations will change, I may not be able to bear with parting from this world.

I prefer death because when you're paralysis you can't make thing like play video games for exemple :D Or go to the swimming pool, you can't take adventage of your holidays or even make the most of life! this is very terrible :gs:

it'd be pretty cool, to wake up from paralysis and see the whole world changed, so I'd like that.

Death.. I wouldn't want to spend my who-knows-how-long life left paralysed... It would be boring the hell outta me.. And I would also burden my family and make them suffer for seeing me paralysed..

I say paralysis because you didn't specify how paralyzed you'd be, therefore only my legs would be paralyzed in my situation and I could still live a relatively good life.

Death. I would not want to be completely paralyzed for the rest of my life. Though I would not kill myself.

Like most of the responses I've seen, Death. At least through death I wouldn't be a constant drain on my loved ones and at the same time I'd probably be able to save the lives of others via my organs. Also for those that say you couldn't do anything whilst paralyzed... They HAVE been experimenting brain computer interfaces and nueroprosthetics for a while now and I think some brain controlled gaming headset came out last year.

I would prefer death because there is really no point in living if you can't move and do things. I want to live an active life and not just lay in bed staring into the blank ceiling.

I prefer death. I don't think that I could bear being paralyzed.POINTS were deducted for this post by Ballistic BeanzPlease refer to the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.

Well it depends, if i was paralyzed just in my legs then i would choose to continue living, but if my whole body was paralyzed then i would choose death.

I would prefer to die because i would hate to have someone wait over me hand and foot(or whatever the saying is....) think about it...someone has to feed you, move you, clean you, i would hate to have no control....so yeah death...although that sounds kinda dark...=S

I'd choose death hands down. It'd suck to watch what happens in a single room day after day. You'd go **** insane and wouldn't be able to do a thing about it. If I don't die from the accident, the plug best be pulled if I get paralyzed.

as a catholic, i am supposed to say vegetable. but as myself i say death. because i know that if i am vegetable, i would be really pissed at not being able to do anything i like to do. then i don't want to put the burden on my family, both financially, and having to do everything for me. plus i would rather be gone and forgotten, than to be remembered as useless

If it was partial, I would try to live my life. But fully paralyzed, I chose death.

I'd prefer death because it allows you to escape from the depression you might possibly get.But I guess i could bear paralysis if it meant i can see my friends and family

A full paralysis like that? It's a rare exception where I'd have to say that death probably would be the better option if there were absolutely ZERO chance of recovery. If it were only a partial paralysis though, from say, waist down, I'd definitely take that option over death.
