Depends on the severity of my paralysis, as long as I can still operate independently I would stay alive, if I'm stuck in a bed for the rest of my life and I cant use a computer, I would probably want to die, I really cant say for sure though as the only way to be sure would be to put me in said situation, so personally I would rather like to avoid the choice all together, I think I will just stay away from things that might paralyze me.

I would rather die no mater the severity. I simply cannot live without driving my car or playing basketball.

I'd rather take death in that case. Being paralyzed, not able to do anything for the rest of my life would be pure torture. I'd want to kill myself, and the worst part would be that I couldn't communicate that to whoever was taking care of me.

I would have to say death as well.Life is about gaining independence, and if you can't do anything on your own, it kind of defeats the purpose.

I would choose (and I use that term facetiously, because obviously it isn't really a choice, but my preference) to die instantly. While I know that it is possible to have a life worth living as a paralyzed person, and a person's worth is not in his or her abilities, when I'm honest I am too much of a coward to face the physical and emotional pain if I don't have to.

Death for me, the idea of being unable to do anything at all just stare at same direction for all life, unable to answer if someone speaks to you, just plainly sucks.

I'd prefer death; if I were a vegetable, I would still die, but I would have to endure God knows how much pain and suffering before it happened. So, I would choose death, to avoid said pain and suffering.

I would choose paralyze even tho you cant doing much you would still spend the rest of your life doing things and looking throught life in a different view on things

i would rather die because that life would be so boring and painful no point of living and imagine not being able to go to the bathroom
