I think I would prefer death to paralysis. So much of what I do depends on the physical, and I don't feel I am too strong in the mental sense. I just have to move around.

I've been paralysed for a short time before and it was **** scary.I'd rather be dead.

I rather die. I don't want to live not being to do thing on my own. I would be at peace and possibly live a new life.

I choose death; don't want to just lay there and be able to do nothing, say nothing, feel nothing. Also I don't want to be a burden for the rest of my family. Who wants to pull the plug?

I'm not sure. I think I would rather die. Unless I was rich. But it depends on the extent of the paralysis. If it's just the legs, maybe. But if it's the arms, no way.

Death for sure. Im scared of death, very much so, but this is a no brainer. There's no reason to live if you cant do anything. It's just a burden for everybody else really :l

I would choose to die rather than being paralyzed unless I had some machine that allowed me to speak and do some stuff.

You know what? This should be a debate topic. Anyways, I choose death. Here are the reasons:1)I'd be laughed/pitied at, which I don't want to get.2)I won't be able to do any single thing, which is boring. I mean, looking at the ceiling, people feeding you and taking you for a pee? Naw.3)I'd be a burden to everyone.4)Life'd be dull, and I can't kill myself.5)I can't socialise with anyone, or even talk. Dying slowly from loneliness.

I think most people would prefer death just because of the fact that paralysis limits you so much that you would be depressed enough to want to die

Definitely death. If I were paralyzed, I would most likely lose all the years even if I were to awake from it. If I were to come out of a comma, I'd imagine it will be like being born again into an unknown world, except that I would be much older.Plus, being supported in a state of paralysis is just a waste of resource.

I would definately prefer death because after living your life being able to move and do things for yourself then it would just be terrible

Certainly death. I could not stand the constant suffering (Mentally) of being fully paralyzed. I just don't think it would be worth it, sitting doing nothing.
