i would prefer death, ive seen what becomes of those car crash victims, im too proud to let those i care for have to change my pants and feed me and pretend to think i can hear them and understand,its just too sad too watch so i wouldnt want it for myself or anyone

being a vege would suck. i would much rather die. my dad knows someone who got hit by a car and they ended up like that but they can talk

I'd rather die! Being paralyzed for life is not a way to live! Sitting all day long staring at the TV, out the window and have someone feed you? No way, nu uh.

death, if I was fully paralysed for life and can move anything... wat's da point? coz family will be sad as, at least wen u die they only sad for a period of time but if u paralyse, everytime they see u they feel sad and pity u, making their sadness last longer, and it's like they hav to support u

do you mean like being braindead. if brain dead, no way as long as it could not help another person (organ donor). if just plain paralysis then i would just deal with it. My grandfather is paralyzed but that does not stop him from having a good life.I hope this topic wasn't taken, as the search was not working goodly, anywho...Imagine you was in a car accident/fell off a high altitudinal distance/was raped/etc. Would you rather be A) FULLY paralyzed, not able to anything on your own, including speaking and going to the bathroom. You are an incurable vegetable. OR B.) Dead on sight/unplugged from life-support?Personally, I would choose death, because paralysis is essentially death, only longer, and you have to be aware that your normal life is completely fcuked.What do YOU think?

It really depends how bad the paralysis was. If I was fully paralyzed, I'd prefer death, but only if it would come naturally. No Euthanasia/assisted suicide for me.

i think death because i just can't imagine life without walking and all the sports you can play when your not paralised, sports are fun so how would you feel if suddenly from an accident you couldn't do something fun.
