Paralysis, simply because, I don't know what happens after death. As for the "relief" part, you wont feel any relief once your already dead.

I've always been a reasonably independent person, and it'd suck if I couldn't go to the movies or a concert or something. Another vote for death over here.

i would choose death because i think paralysis would only cause other people(especially loved ones) to suffer more because they may be seeing u alive but the fact that you cant do anything on your own, your as good as dead..

if it were full paralysis then i'd rather diei don't like depending on people especially doing the basics in lifeand it would be a super burden on my family and friends

I rather choose death. I will be unable to move, I would be suffering and I will be a burden to my family members. Being paralysed is just the same as waiting for the Grim Reaper to come collect you anyway...

Death, definately. The vegetation state would put too much strain on my mental capabilities- I'd soon turn a silent mad. Death, however, could give me a chance to stop and maybe even start over again.
