call of duty4 is one of the few games i own that doesnt lag at all if yours is lagging it could be your internet signal or if someone else is stilling your wireless it will lag as well

I heard one guy say he was getting lag but I didn't experience any whatsoever. I think its a pritty cool game. I'm not to hot on multi player shooters. But I was not disappointed in this one.

Call of Duty 4 was designed to run flawless. Literally, if anything made the game drop below 60fps, they got rid of it and found something else to use. So it is definitely not the game that is causing your lag issue. Unless you disc is scratched up or something.

Your problem is could be that your NAT is either moderate or strict. Or maybe it's your connection strength.Though, XBL has been a little messed up lately, so I understand what you're talking about.

hmm, i am from asia and i dont really lag when i play with local pple, xcept when the host is from a coutry far away from me, den lag starts to kick in

There was an update launched yesterday, it should make games more stable. They also introduced a bunch of new camera angles for each weapon.

I generally only lag if I try and play right at peak time, and that's probably more a function of my connection itself than the game or Xbox Live. That said, sometimes you just get an awful host, and you either have to deal with lagging, or leave the game and try to find a better host. It's rare (particularly in FFA), but it happens.

call of duty has to be one of the best games everbut it has never lagged for mewell actually sometimes pn live but thats rarebut still i think COD4 is one of the best

Dosent happen to me, well not much, but its normally cos you have a bad internet conncetion, so i reccomend checking your broadband

the only time it lags is if the host has a 'bad' connection and sometimes if they are downloading things this could cause it to lag:bai:

It might be if you downloaded it to your hard drive, 'cause that makes halo 3 lag alot.

If you have a bad connection itll lag, other then that, it connects you to the best host at the time when you join, so it could just be your timing when it comes to games, cause im on a horrid wireless conneciton and I get good games all the time without lag.

It's a server, so the lag depends on your connection...if it's good, there's little to no lagif it's bad...well yeah
