Sailor Moon! No really Street Fighter II is the only correct answer here for me.

Hey there, Oscar Martinez. Killer Instinct DID have Fatalities, they were called "No Mercy" moves
although the moves were distinctly less bloody than conventional fatalities.

Here were the ones I owned:Mortal Kombat Ultimate 3 <- my favorite because I was a young kid who thought the excessive violence was coolRanma 1/2Street Fighter 2TMNT: Tournament FightersMy pickings were very slim and back then I didn't know what was or wasn't a good game and didn't go buying games. I came here to see what others thought.

For me it was a tie between Street Fighter 2 and its generic knock-off, TMNT: Tournament Fighters/Mutant Warriors. I don't know how good they are for their generation, but I used to play these two games the most with friends when it came to tournament-fighting. On the other hand, I've played really bad ones. I never liked World Heroes and there was another one, one of those SNK ones, but I forgot which.Street Fighter will remain my favorite always
A good Street Fighter knock-off though was the tournament-based game TMNT: Mutant Warriors. The game came out for all 3 systems at the time, but the SNES version was actually really good.

I remember liking Killer Instinct, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat. Thing is, going back now... Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat have NOT aged well. Street Fighter is the only one I still find fun to play. Thinking back, I think I always liked it better anyway. It just liked the other ones because my friends did.
