RPGs Don't need Live since they last for a good while but for Co-op and FPS you have to go with Live for sure.

If you dont have live i would suggest getting. It is a great way to interact with your friends and make new ones

To enjoy xbox, one must balance single player and multiplayer, then one will be complete with the xbox

The old days, where you played only singleplayer and had nothing else to do with your console, are gone. Xbox Live isn't just about the Multiplayer, i mean you have videos, demos, arcade games, gamer pics and themes to download, the game updates, the 360 updates and the DLC for the games you own. Xbox360 is definitely way better with Live.

Amen to that. And mute playerI think the 360 needs Live. Even if almost all the people you meet are idiots, it makes for a great gaming experience.

well 360 is borrow just playing by yourself sometimes =[ but if u get live its a whole lot funner than playing by yourself coz u get to play with your friends and that but yea live is worth it if u plan on buying it

It's not exactly fun to have no live at all, but its bearable. It keeps the replay value down, which kind of takes some fun out of the games, but I guess some games do get old quick anyways.

i dont have live but i find it just as fun playin by myself and if i do want to play against my friends all i have to do is go round there house and connect to there xbox 360

Cant see the 360 where it is now with out live and its functions. Live makes the 360 what it is if you really think about it.

It's fine, i have lots of friends who come by a lot to play multiplayer, i wish i had xbox live but i can live without it.

it needs live because the best part of halo is its multiplayer features, live is an excellent way 2 take advantage of that

Although it is possible to enjoy the 360 without live, many games such as Fable 2, GTA 4, COD 4, and even games like Mass Effect are made better because of downloadable content and multiplayer.

Live is ok. I get bothered by the fact that they get millions of dollars a year and there is still lag in some of the matches. I still play live more than SP though.

I don't have Xbox Live but I've played at a friends house, and I've got to agree with the people... XBOX LIVE IS EVERYTHING!!!!!Mostly everything... but EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
