I'm an elite because I always like to be unique in games. Most people I know are spartans. I personally believe that their should have been a lot more models but not ones that would make it unfair (eg. Grunt). Anything as tall as chief like the Brute, Marine(could be multiple different ones), Elite Heretic, Flood and hunter(probably too bulky: easy target). That would have made it way more exciting.

Well elites and spartans are the only ones that have energy shields and then Bungie would have to make up some ridiculous story on how they got energy shields.. btw im a L33T

I'm an elite. I would like to have more but TNHitokiRi is right, Bungie can only put in Spartan or Elite cause they're the only ones with energy shields.

Well you guys can say that in multiplayer each character is special. Like if you're a jackal you have a energy sheild (the one they usually hold) and can say that the sheild can take more hits but you cant duel wield. Or if you're a brute you can take more hits and you have a strong melee, but it's movement is slow. Also if they put in hunters, then the hunters could be very slow and can only hold the fuel rod but has no over shield, but can use it's arms shield. But I cant think of anything about the grunts or the bugs. I think it would be pretty intesting if they do put other characters in.Oh yeah I'm a elite.

Spartan coz their heads doesn't stick out and make for easy sniper head shots. Plus theyre smaller targets.

L33T all the way!But see, if they have brutes and hunters, they could take a beating as well as a spartan, and more than an elite...marines would die too quick though, and so would grunts...If they ever have a Halo 3, im sure theyll add some more skins...

I usually play as a Spartan, but sometimes I get stuck with the Elite. I think that adding more skins would be pretty cool in the upcoming Halo 3 and maybe in Halo 2.5, but that would just lead to unfair advantages. I mean, while adding a Brute as a playable character in multiplayer would be fun, they have no overshield and could be picked off from a distance. Also, if Brutes would play in close quarter combat, that would tilt the favor more towards the Brutes and Hunters, since they rock at melee combat. They would have to develop characters that keep the level of advantages on all sides of the playing field, otherwise there would be no use to playing a grunt that gets shot up every twenty seconds into the match. I think that Bungie did make a wise move in including Elites in multiplayer mode because of the similarities to the Spartan, they would have to create more characters that have the same abilities as the Spartan and the Elite in future Halo games.
