I like all of the last gym leaders because they were supposed to be a challenge but ended up being really easy to defeat

Blaine! I love battling the fire Pokemon. There are so little of them in Pokemon nowadays, so. Yeah.

Chuck from Cianwood gym (gold/silver), because he was macho, yet his wife admitted he was getting kind of chubby, ha ha.

i very like wallace, the last gym leader in sapphire or ruby version coz he is strong and he is one of two gym leader that difficult for me to beat!

candice in platinum. because she has tough pokemon and if you picked turtwig at the start of the game then your finished.

Giovanni's been my favorite since the first game! because he's not just the bad guys' boss, but also, from my point of view, a pretty cool character for the series, and also because he uses one of my favorite types Ground!

I think that my favorite is the one I'm always having trouble to beat with my starting Pokémon (always fire!).. Brock in the original games, stone types are very hard to beat with scratch and ember

I love clair from gold nd silver fo her dragon pokemon. But i also like Lance from the elite four though he's not a gym leade for the same reason.

The gym leader in Blackthorn City was pretty cool. Her dragon pokemon were hard to beat though.

i liked beating Giovanni....you felt like you defeated the entire freaking game after that...but you haven't...D8

sabrina was definatly one of the toughest with her superwell trained psychic pokemon... and can we still say koga after hes in the elite 4 now? but i would say that blue from the silver and gold games was one of the hardest gym leaders

Blue, not only because he's got some good varity and was a lot better then the other gym leaders in G/S/C, but also because he was your rival in R/B/Y.

I liked Flannery, the Gym leader of Lavaridge, because she was a new gym leader and so did not have that "I am epic and awesome and will beat you" sort of thing that is so annoying. she was kind of insecure which was really different.
