Yay, I lift (well, not yay because of the pain.)I've always used to think that muscle pain was caused by lactic acid and the such, but it actually occurs because when the body undergoes glycolysis. For the sake of brevity, the output of glycolysis is ATP, the energy molecule. You obviously need ATP to lift weights, not to mention carry out most of your bodily functions.

Exocrine System - composed of body parts (mainly glands) that send their products (hormones) into glands.Endocrine System - composed of body parts (various organs) that send their hormones directly into the bloodstream or a specific area to which the hormone is applicable too. The liver, pancreas, stomach, & mammary glands (to the best of my knowledge) are both part of the endo- and exocrine systems. In total, I number 4.

Because diabetics have high blood sugar. Because of that, certain odor causing bacteria thrive in the high sugar environment.

A diabetic has low insulin in his blood and this leads to the body mobilizing it's energy reserves in the fat tissue. Aside of Glucosis the level of ketone bodies (acetoacetate, beta-hydroxybutyrate and acetone) in blood increases. And since Acetone is one of the ketone bodies a diabetic's breath tends to smell like acetone. Hope I got that right :shifty:

When people eat less carbohydrate, their bodies turn to fat for energy, so more ketones are generated. Some of those ketones are used for energy. There is one type of ketone molecule, called acetone, that cannot be used and is excreted as waste, mostly in the urine and breath which sometimes causes a bad breath odor).
