If they can't deal with the burden of the child or don't want it, put it up for abortion. Considering all the STDs causing infertility, you won't have a hard time finding someone trying to adopt.

I don't belive this debate will ever be resolved. Unfortunatlly a lot of people see it as a murderous act because it meets all the scientific requirements off somthing thats alive. But what's is so wrong about sparing somthing that has no cognitve thought the horror and pain of growing up in a world with parents that don't have the abilities, money, or dedication to be good parents. It's got to be a person/ couple's right to decide and live with that decision. That said, Trojans are $3.45 for a 3 pack of the super fancy ones at the seven eleven where these kids are buying the booze for there parties. Sure wearing a condom takes away a little tiny bit of the sensation, but sex with a condom has still got to feel way better then hearing you knocked up some girl your prom date.

The moment the Egg gets fertilized with the sperm the cells start to multiply, there for, Cells multiplying=Alive. Cells live, and Living is being a Organism that can do things like they do.There theres a sloppy version of a Scientist's point of view. I'm Pro-life, If she has the baby, then its her fault for having sex without protection. Its just ridiculous. What if the baby grows up and finds out that its mom tried to kill her, what if your mom killed you, I bet you wouldn't be very happy about that.At least have the baby and let it have a chance at life, geez, Its not like anyone can ask it if 'it' wants to continue living, what a bunch of heartless douche'bags you all are for even considering "its the womans body, let her deal with it". Yeah, apparently its her body, and she got 'knocked up, so i guess she's not very good with her own damn body to be in that kind of situation. Using the term "A Baby as a punishment" is like saying "feeding your dogs is a punishment". Its a responsibility that you have done to yourself, and you should do it nevertheless. Don't say "its not alive until it can work on its own", Babies cant survive on their own, you leave a baby in a room for a few days and its dead and your wondering "wha??? if it was alive, then why didn't it live?" Just because it needs the mother for a few months doesn't mean "its not alive".

oh man I'm throwing in the towel on this one. Both sides have very good points, such as a person should have the choice of what they do with their body; and a couple should use the many simple birth control methods to aviod unwanted pregnancy. Everyone has extremely firm points of view and nothing anyone says can change your minds from what you belive. (If anyone has changed their stance on abortion please drop me a message. I would love to know who said what to sway your opinion as I have never heard of anyone changing sides on this subject.) I say we let one side kill their babies and the other side put their kids up for adoption the same way I put my car for sale on craigs list (I'm sorry 1995 chevey lumina, but your someone else's problem now.) and in the end I hope god promptly smites us all into an early grave. After reading everyones posts I think the only way to really be right is to freeze some sperm for when you do want kids and then go get snipped. Good luck with your debates; I'll be checking in on my friends laptop in a hole I dug in my backyard, waiting for a just and mercifull god to abort the world. Please Please Please let me know if you have ever changed your opinion on abortion and why.

I have to agree with the pro-abortionists on this one. Especially if you're a man, who are you to tell a woman that she can't get an abortion? Its not your life to deal with, and its not your body. A fetus and a baby are completely different. Its one thing to cruelly smother a child, or kill it once they have been born. Its completely another to terminate a fetus (yes, I use the word terminate, not because I don't want to say kill, but because you can't exactly kill something that isn't alive). Let people make their own decisions. If you outlaw it in a state, all it means is someone has to cross the border to get it done elsewhere (or get it done illegally).

I think that abortion is not a good thing. With the whole "Fetus" argument, think about this: That Fetus is a future baby. The only occasion on which I would support it is maybe rape.BTW: If you're about to get raped, yell "I have AIDS!"This is not a joke, this is a precaution.

Thousands of Dollars are spent to create conscience on using the condom in ads on Tv. People are just brain-lazy if they go to do their "stuff" on a girl without using a rubber. Come on. If you impregnate a woman because of your laziness, then deal with it and pay the price. An Old saying goes: 30 minutes of pleasure for 30 years of duties.

where the hell did you hear this? Where does this 30 years come from? I'd say eighteen years then he's out of the house. Is it normal for men to be living with their parents till 30 where your from? Where did this quote come from?

^I totally agree. Ignorance is stupid and useless.I think its just good to wear condoms. People dont use them becasue they are stupid. As i've said before, only in cases of rape do I think it plausible.(Abortion)they could give out free condoms... but thats another thing that spends money....Like the war.

I am personally against abortions. If i had a friend think about an abortion i would try to have her reconsider it. However, i am also a firm believer in NEVER forcing my views on anyone else. If she goes through with the abortion i would never hold it against her. It is her body and no one should tell her what she can or cant do with it. It really bothers me how people who are against something that has no effect on them whatsoever (gay marriage, abortion, etc.) try to force everyone to do as they believe. If ur against abortion, dont have one. If ur against gay marriage dont marry a homo. Simple as that. If we all just minded our own business, this wouldn't even be a debate.

I personally am against abortions i can't satnd the fact that people destroy anothers life simply beacuse it's more convenient for them. I can understand that some people MEDICALLY need to have them but if you make the mistake of having the child then you must live with it. My biggest problem with abortions is the fact that people are escaping responsibility for their actions beacuse it's "easier".

my question to u is if u have ever had an abortion? I hate how abortion is seen as such a simple thing. Someone just doesn't get pregnant and decide "oh well, i'll just get an abortion." It's a very difficult decision to make. Its not easier than "taking responsibility" for their mistake. As much as i am personally against abortions, I'm more against judging these women for the decision they made. The decision was hard enough as it was, I refuse to make it more difficult for them.

i believe its ok if there is NO other option. a child can ruin two peoples young lives and even the child itself. but if there is any chance u could take care of it well, they are wrong.

I feel abortions should be allowed to a certain degree, after a certain time limit (say 6 months?) then the abortion should not be allowed to be canceled

i believe such law exist in the US. A fetus may not be terminated after the first trimester, unless the mother is in danger

I am pro-life. The life inside a mothers belly is not subjected to her will but to the will of God. Therefore, she has no right to take that life from her belly. Abortion, is just the same as murder

Pro-abortion is quite a cruel term in my opinion. Pro choice serve as a much better one. The whole point of abortion is to offer up an alternative to the complications that may come from simply keeping the child. in an idea world we'd all like to keep the kids and raise them to be a model and moral citizen. Unfortunately such is never the case. It's always good to have an alternative option

Are any of you 18?You all seem to act as if you've never made a life-altering decision. Most abortions are.. in most cases an accident.People, who are young, do stupid things.andHave you ever heard of things... like condoms breaking?Refers to bolded part.A fetus and a child are COMPLETELY different. For the most part, a fetus isn't alive....Which... I believe happens in the last 6 months or so...Which is when the heart beats, and blood moves through the veins. This is what science says, and what the Vatican believes. (Vatican = Pope)...Though, the Vatican is Pro-Life, not to mislead people. When the abortion is preformed, the fetus is not alive yet... and is nothing more than cells.Since, I believe you three to be quite young....Do you know exactly how babies are created? It a set of genes from each parent...So technically, with incredible odds, a parent could have two kids, born years apart that look exactly the same.Genetics don't determine personality, etc.Hormones, etc. Will probably influence it, but it doesn't make the person. What determines how someone will be, is what happens after they are born..I've said it like ten times today... The phrase:It takes a village to raise a child.Which means, simply... The parents don't just raise the child, its the people and events that happen/are around it.

Have you ever had an abortion? Known someone who has? Fetus, unborn child (whatever you want to call it) aside, the psychological damage that does to women is astounding, there's no way to get over it really. Also, physically, one mistake and that woman will never have children. I....can't really express how I feel about this. There's a poignant story about this: A man died and went to heaven, God said: "You may ask me one question." The man said: "why didn't you send the cure for cancer?" God replied: "I did, but you aborted it." It's a truly vile act, if I had the choice to give up my life to stop abortion, I would.

Did the man then ask "If you are all knowing then you would know the child was going to be aborted... Why wouldn't you send the cure with someone who you knew was going to be able to live for long enough to cure cancer?"

If you were God for a day, and decided to cure cancer by creating a child who would be able to grow up, become a scientist and discover the cure to cancer. Would you create that child inside a body that you knew would destroy it, or would you put the child in a body that you knew would give birth to it and raise it properly so the child would be able to cure cancer? We decide if we are going to have an abortion or not. God already knows what our decision will be and decides to put one of the most important lives ever inside someone who he knows will destroy the new life before it's even born =/.
