I used to get the Nintendo Power magazine, and I used to spend a ton of time on the internet. Now, I usually learn about games by either seeing them on store shelves or advertisements.

I actually know when a game is going to come out from Nintendo Power. They have games from a year from now and in depth reviews, helping me decide what game I want.

I always go to gamefaqs.com. I think that's the best source for pretty much anything you could want to know about video games.

Magazines, tv, internet, buddies. I went with internet because it's definetly biggest for me in volume.

I like to play sequals and follow a particualr series, but I will also look on the Internet and talk to friends about them.

Usually, I just come across games on the internet, do my research and decide if they're worth spending money on. Occasionally, I'll hear about games from friends, like in the case of Tales of Symphonia; my buddy just told me, here, play this. I did and it was unbelievable. And of course there's the sequels/prequels. If I play a great game like Resident Evil 4, I'm going to want to play the rest of the series.

LEARN about the game in 2 steps1) check the Rating in any game sites 
2) Go to you tube to examine the graphic and playability that it.....

I didn't vote on this because it would have been most of the above.Inner webz word of mouth you name it....if you are into games and it is your hobby then you are going to get deeper and deeper in it.That goes for everything you do in life.
