...well maybe but that wouldn't be like microsoft or bugie to make a MMORPG. Even if, people would just annoy people by going beserk and running around in circle will firing a fuel rod gun saying "ME GOTS A FEUL ROD GUN!!!!!! FEEL MY FUEL RODDY WRATH!!!!"* The second sentence of this is exactly what I would do with a feul rod gun

I'm a MMO Freak and i would love to see them give this a shot. Although it would take some creative minds to put togather a good HALO MMORPG that is going to keep ppl intersted in it and turn them away from the regular HALO play.

I think just in general someone needs to make an actual First Person Shoot MMORPG. I know plenty of people who would drop any amout of money on this kind of game

If they make a halo MMO I want a lord of the rings 1st person shooter how the hell can they make a lotr shooter>.< lotr doesnt have guns and to make a full bow and arrow shooter is cinda crap

I doubt they would make one, but if they did i would definitively play it. MMORPGS are a lot of fun

Well, it would be pretty cool, but your problem would be finding a way around the inherent design problems. I suppose you could do the different alien races along with humans. Classes are where it gets tricky. Where do Spartans come in? A prestige class? Because you know that every Halo fanboy's going to want to be a Spartan. If you make it a basic class, it won't be realistic, and if you make it what it should be, a very hard to reach prestige class....my GOD, can you imagine the worldwide whining? But if they made it properly, you could have starting classes like Marine, Sniper, Special Ops, Demolition, Medic, and so on. Then maybe have some higher specialized classes like an Covenant Weapons Expert who could use some specialized weapons that only Covenant could normally use. Then get to a very high level, and work your butt off to get that sought-after Spartan class. It's got possibilities if someone does it right.I guess im kinda an MMO freek but... that would be kinda fun!

There isnt enough of a base for this to happen, at best, they would make a wise decision to release a beta on PC/Xbox 360 and make the 2 playable together, and see how successful it is, but it will never happen, not enough worlds/enemies/weapons/characters/and story to make such a game...If they make a halo MMO I want a lord of the rings 1st person shooter

Considering it would require them to take a FPS and turn it into an RPG, somehow i dont get the impression that would work very well. I mean, what kind of classes could you have in halo?

I think converting it to an RPG from an FPS would be weird at best.

the fact that bungie did split from Microsoft is a good sign. Bungie was making rpg's and rts's for a few years before Halo was taken on as a project, so I wouldnt be suprised if they expanded on the Halo Wars direction and created an interactive MMO Halo world, with different objectives and never-ending skirmishes. That would be so cool.That would definitely be interesting. but i thought microsoft and bungie split, so i think that idea is very unlikely.

Personally I think it would be to weird because it just doesn't seem to be a game that could work under the MMORPG kinda theme.
