These games are of different genres, so it's hard to compare. Golden Sun is strictly a turn-based RPG, while Zelda mixes RPG, Adventure, and Action.

golden sun becuase it was like a 3d game and it was really fun also since it is a top rated game

Yikes thats tough. Golden sun was much better graphically then Zelda...but I still love zeldas feel and gameplay...so I have to go with zelda

This is true. A better way to state this question is which game did you enjoy more. In my case its Golden SunWe are compraing two different types of RPGs, choosing one over the other isnt appropriate since it will be biased on what style a person prefers. On one hand, Zelda is one of the best, if not the best Action RPG while Golden Sun is an awesomely good Turn Based RPG.

I would say that Zelda is better because of a more depth storyline and better visual.

I think both games are worth playing. GS is more like rpg, zelda is a adventure isin't it

Well, my favorite battle style is from Zelda, but in the end I vote for Golden Sun, because of the Djinies (or whatever they are called) and skill mechanics.

They're almost in different categories. Golden sun is turnbased and zelda is not. But between the two i'd have to go with the classic golden sun.

although both games are great i prefer zelda, just the free movement of the main character makes it better in my eyes

very hard question to answer you have to acknowledge Zelda as one of the best games ever ( I am talking about a link to the past which was ported to the GBA) but golden sun is my favorite game so I choose it for its great story and music and graphics. I have to say it is sad they have stooped making more games.

Zelda is my choice, although you can't really compare these games. They're very different from each other and Zelda is a well-established IP; Golden Sun is still young

Golden Sun is cool, but Zelda wins hands down in my book. It's always a little bit different, but always kinda the same, and I never have any complaints. How do they do it?

I think that Zelda has better graphics but golden sun has better game play and story line. that's why i chose golden sun.

hmm this is a very hard decision to make! zelda does have better graphics, as it is newer than the golden sun games. but down the line golden sun had more enjoyable gameplay than zelda. i am a zelda fan but if they came out with another golden sun i would get it in a heartbeat.
forgive my multi post but i had to say it..... golden sun has free movement just like zelda. zelda has combat that takes place on the world map and golden sun has final fantasy type of combat so if that is what you mean than i understand how that can change your decision.although both games are great i prefer zelda, just the free movement of the main character makes it better in my eyes

I personally like Golden Sun better but if you put everything into consideration i suppose Zelda is the better game, with its graphics and storyline. But I don't know why its just Golden sun just fasinates me further more than Zelda

I never was a big fan of the GBA Zelda games, so I'll have to go with Golden Sun. I really liked the Djinn system, with having to choose between summoning or just general boosts to power.

Man back then when I purchased Golden Sun, I thought it was the best, you know why? Because it had great graphics (of its time), amazing story line that gets people addicted and the role play is fun with the Psyenergy. Man you cannot go wrong with such a classic game like that!
