Golden Sun, for the graphics, epic story, and if you're a fan of classic turn-based rpg's then it's arguably one of the best of its kind. The music in the game builds on and improves the SNES greats, like Chrono Trigger.

Nooo! You can't make me choose! It's too hard! -dies-I love Zelda so much! It's such a great series! The stories are totally amazing, and the gameplay is so much fun!Golden Sun was an obsession of mine for a while. Almost every Web site I went to had something to do with Golden Sun. I e-mailed the Webmasters and Webmistresses of a whole bunch of GS sites telling them how cool their sites were (I was 10, okay?), joined a few forums. The Roc's Nest, forums for Aerie of the Roc, was the first IPB I joined. I wrote a lot of fanfictions, and played the game nonstop. Then TLA came out, and I was hooked.But, overall, I'd have to say, Zelda. Golden Sun was awesome, and it had a really cool story, but Zelda will always have a special place in my video game collection.

Zelda has more adventuring equipement (hook shot) to make it more fun, though golden sun does place in a world to explore I find Zelda way more fun.

I liked golden sun, but come on zelda is still the OG of fantasy RPG. No contest really.

I completely agree with this comment. maybe comparing the FF tactics maybe with golden sun, which would be def. golden sun. Both are great games though, and me being a huge Zelda fan im going with Zelda. If you like drawing which is a completely different topic but i will tie it in with zelda, if u like to draw check out a website that is www.elfwood.com has great fanart for zelda and for golden sun too. makes for great wallpaper.We are compraing two different types of RPGs, choosing one over the other isnt appropriate since it will be biased on what style a person prefers. On one hand, Zelda is one of the best, if not the best Action RPG while Golden Sun is an awesomely good Turn Based RPG.

I have to throw my hat towards zelda, Golden Sun just wasn't my cup of tea. I enjoy RPGs like Final Fantasy but Golden Sun was just far too short in my opinion as a turn based RPG.

Golden sun all the way. Golden sun has some thing that other games dont have. In my opinion Golden sun is a much better game

I would have to go with Zelda on this one. I've played it since the original came out, which was an ok game for the time, but the Zelda's for the GBA have to be some of the funnest games for roadtrips that I've ever played.

I love both of the games, seriously. Legend of Zelda got one of those 'hero must save the world' kind of adventure, but Golden Sun severely pwns. I loved the story, the characters, the battle system. Although LoZ is a classic, I'd chose GS over it.

I am a huge fan of Zelda, but Golden Sun was pretty cool. In the end i chose Zelda, but Golden Sun ceartainly does put up a tough fight and it's one of the only games that do.

I have to say Zelda takes the trophy. I've played both games and Zelda just seemed to have a better story line.

They're completely different in play style. But if you want to compare apples and potato chips, Golden Sun has more replay value for me. There's so many different classes and weapons to get, whereas I'd play the Zelda games the same way each time.

I personally prefer goldensun because it's so massive. It takes ages to complete and keeps you interested with a great storyline

Golden Sun is better that Zelda. Add all the graphics and stuffs..Zelda cannot match the game play of Golden Sun.

Golden sun will win. Better graphics, better items/ weopons and smoother gameplay. Even though i am a fan of zelda i would say that golden sun would win.

quite frankly, if you're going to say that most zelda games aren't RPGs, and your only basis is that it doesn't do turn-based, then you're not remembering what the point of RPGs is... an RPG is game with the point of taking on the mindset of another entity for the purpose of accomplishing their goals... if Zelda 1 and Zelda: a link to the past aren't RPGs, then neither is FFXII, and... well... yeah, it is. I voted for golden sun, but the point is that... ZELDA IS AN RPG

I don't understand why you put these together in a contest. Zelda of course because I've played zelda ever since i was little and never get bored. To me Golden Sun is new , a good game, but it has a while before it can catch up to Zelda.

Not really a fan of Zelda. It's okay but it can't beat Golden Sun in my eyes. Golden Sun has the better graphics and better storyline in my opinion. The battle system is debatable because they are both interesting and I think Zelda would win on music. Definitely Golden Sun for the winner though, although I'm sure Zelda has a bigger following, having many more games.
