i would say wii sports is way betterthe games are better and the will entertain u longerthe only good games i think are on wii play r the tank thingy and ping pongbut u can play ping pong on mario party 8.theres a reason why they give u a wiimote with wii playwii sports u get for free so to me wii spors is better in every area

Wii Sports. I was really disappointed by Wii Play; not enough Play in it!! They wouldn't even give you Darts for cryin' out loud!! 
So yeah, Wii Play simply falls short against Wii Sports. Not to mention multi-player is better on Wii Sports also.

I prefer WiiSports becuase there is so muh more to do, and you can track your results better.

i Prefere wii play because it has great games like the tank game andthe ping pong game to name a few. i also think wii sports is ok i like the tennis and the bowling.

Definitely Wii Play!!! The cow riding game is by far the coolest game this decade 
and how bout the world famous tank game!!! Pretty sure Wii Play is one of the most under-rated Wii games to date. Nintendo made a beauty and it's for all kinds of people, not just for bowling enthusiasts... Wii Sports is alright, assuming you spend hours on end practising your swing. And what game do you think caused all those smashed Wii remotes and even cracked TV screens? Baseball, Tennis and everyone's favourite; Bowling. Sports is for hardcore Wii'ers where Play is for everyone... Move over Sports, the nerds r coming bak

Wii Play is... Very dull. Except for Duck Hunt and Tanks.Wii Sports, on the other hand, is very interesting, except for Bowling.I'd have to go with Wii Sports here.

I agree, Wii Play is very dull except for Duck Hunt, the Tanks, and well personally I love the laser hockey, but it's not really all that interesting. 
In any case, Wii Sports is something I've been playing since I got my Wii, I still mess around with Wii Golf, and am quite proud to be 2000 skill level in tennis. Makes you feel good. ^^
