All of you who play COD 4 know that u have a decsision to make at lvl 55...prestige mode...is it worth it to take prestige mode?

if you're the kind of person who's going to play it over and over again to get 10 little icons so everybody will think you're really good, then yes.personally, i could care less... i just wanted to get all the guns. my friend decided to try it and right after he did he only got to about level 15 again and then decided he was bored of the game.

the way i see it is as a challenge. So you can get all the weapons but can only pwn with like 5 of em. So going into prestige gives you a chance to get good with em all and get some pretty little emblems while your at it. i dont think so. you work hard for all those weapons and skins and then you lose them all and get a stupid symbol next to your name that only half the community will know what it means

If you want to continue leveling, its cool. Me however, I regret doing it. Generally all my classes consisted of unlocked weapons and perks so its weird for me.

If you like having a wide varitey of weapons, once prestige, you would have to wait from them again...

It's nice if you want to start fresh. I'm going into prestige mode once I fill up my level 55 exp bar.

what is prestige mode anyways??? I see it every time I load into COD4, and it taunts me. it says "GET YOUR A$$ TO LEVEL 55 SO I CAN BE PLAYED"what do you get for it???

When you go into Prestige Mode, you're restarted at level 1 again, but you'll have a Prestige symbol next to your name rather than a rank symbol. You lose all your classes, weapons, perks, etc. If you're someone who's going to keep playing the game a lot, do it. I think its pretty stupid myself.

I will go prestige whenever I start getting tired of the game. Right now I'm trying for my golden guns.

In my personal opinion, I dont like prestige mode, for you loose all of weapons you worked hard in getting.. ex. blue tiger camouflage, acog scope

Some clans have a prestige requirement, so it would be wise to do it, besides, once you hit #10, you get an awesome gold cross, and you can start working on golden weapons. Golden shotgun is good stuff, let me tell you...Generally though, prestiging is for bragging rights, so...P.S.: I won $500.00 from GameBattle's last pro tourney, we came in 4th place.

Nah, I did prestige once and my k/d ratio dipped back down to a 2.3 from the lack of unlocks and all i got was a dumb little icon. Lame!

I personally think, if you get bored of the game, just prestiege and you get more play time with things to do, besides, that gold cross looks gangsta.

my friends all prestiged and they want me to since im already level 55 and they bug me every second, but I rather keep all my weapons and perks lol So im just working on the sniper challenges to get that sexy golden dragonuv lol
