How would that kind of game work? If it was like pokemon would the cards level up or something?

Hmm...that'd be a strange combination, but I suppose it could work in some form, like, if you are battling with the Pokemon, but you use the Yugiou! (I use the Japanese spelling), cards as back up, like the monsters could be extra summons, or the magic could be used as additional attacks, or healing. Also the traps, could be used to protect the user or something like that...Of course, then you have to think about how you would get the two worlds to cross together...

I think it has an interesting possibility. Personally, I would like to see how the game developed before giving a yes or no (and yes i know this is hypothetical and not an actual game), but the idea seems solid enough.

It'd be better than the current systems are.I need a little variety. Think Pokemon TCG for gameboy. That game was amazing! I know you loved it. Yugioh just doesn't have the goods in terms of variety.Just look at Yugioh Duel Academy. The game is fun. It's based on Yugioh. But the only thing you get to do is move cards, play battles, and take a weird exam. Woohoo.

I don't think that type of game would work, if u look at it Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon are 2 diferent genres.So I can't imagine a Yu-Gi-Oh!-Pokemon type video game.

I think it'd be quite cool~ I mean think about it~ if they ain't just cards, but friends, maybe it would be interesting, the only thing is.... don't each monster only have one attack move? It would be weird just watching the monster blasting another with only one move, but I don't think they should catch the monster, more like be friends with them(sort of like Pokemon Dungeon Mission), and maybe if they your friend have like a banner or something^^~

it would be okay but the things only have one attack move and your allowed to have many on the field at one time so they would deffintly have some kinks to work out but it could work

Im sorry to disagree , but It would be wonderful to see these monsters as pokemon like characters. Just imagine you have black magician, what will you evolve it too? so many options.to me i wouldnt like it you go around capturing monsters thts jsut so gay and theres nothin else to do cept for mayb going to tournaments i say it would be a bad idea

it would be cool i guessi think yugioh and pokemon should be combinedin yugioh you can only play tournamantsin pokemon you can only walk around and catch monsters with an occasional battlewalking around + continuous tournamant option is the best imo

I wouldn't like it because it'd be against the whole concept of Yugioh. Pokemon is designed to be, you know, walking around and capturing monsters through random encounters. Yu-Gi-Oh is all about combat through cards. I thought Reshef of Destruction for the GBA was one of the better Yu-Gi-Oh games and I reckon they should update it to be a 3D third person over the shoulder game. I reckon that would make a better Yu-Gi-Oh game
