I must agree that emulation is better in the way of flexiblility but sometimes i prefer handhelds more because i lack a lappy and its easier to hide.

I just don't get why you would waste your money on a gae that you would only play for like a month when you can just get it for free.

I much prefer real games. It seems the reason most ppl like emus (other than the fact you can now download almost any game you care to mention) is that they make the original game easier, by adding built-in cheat modes, savestates, etc. I think the best part of any game is the challenge it poses, and if you purposefully take that challenge away then there's no real point in playing it anymore.

same... i mean take loz for instance... without the challenge of replaying the lvl you die in and trying to get all the items its just as usless as the n-gage

In my opinion they are both have advantages. Emulators are free while real game prices range. Emulators have the advantage that they are easy to cary around, which is nearly impossible for a system such as PS ( PS1 or PS2), or Nintendo ( Nintendo 64, and Super Nintendo).

Actually, the emulated games are hard too. Even with the mid-game saving ability.

emulation is free and allows me to have a bigger screen without buying a gamecube or a cable, or even the game. I have no problem with the controls since there are only six button. For some odd reason I love to see pixels in games that use sprites, makes it look real vintage.

I think emulation and the real game both have their strong and weak points. For emulation you can download games for free. But if they might have very awkward controls or have problems unlike the real thing. On the real game there is a bigger chance of no problems and everything usually works well. So which do you prefer?

i love emulation and itīs a lot cheaper

I would depend upon the system. For RPGs on the gba I perfer to emulate it just gives me something more to multitask but for other systems, the PS2 included it appears better to play the actual system, if just to avoid the stress to my system. X3

I think if I were to compare the two without factoring price, the real game would always win.Of course if somethings free, TAKE IT

I think that the real game is better. For example playing WarioWare Twisted on emulator is almost impossible.

I usually have trouble finishing a game on a emulator, but when I'm on the actual hand-held I usually play games all the way through,They both have their ups and downs.

the real thing if at all possible, I only emulate games I could not otherwise obtain, otherwise I buy it, if for no other reason than to support the developers, remember kiddies, devs make no money = no more games to emulate.
