While the real game is a much more fun, less complicated experience, I like the emulations better because they're free and I never have any money :|

Well the emulations are obviously free.... you can use cheats without buying a system for it... you can also change cheats mid-game (definite +).However, for handhelds, the game is portable, and for emulations its much less so.

It's all about the emulation for a handheld. Unless you're talking DS, where the control scheme is part of the gimmick, then it really is nice to have the emulator goodness.

All money issues aside, I prefer the real game. The controls are, for the most part, better, and, of course, it's portable. :)However, emulation has its perks too. The obvious points being the price (or lack thereof) and easier saves. However, I still voted for having the game.

I prefer to play a real game. It just feels better on the hands for some reason. I only download the emulated game if you can't buy it at the shop anymore.

I think i would choose the emulation version to see how good it is, and then i might/might not buy the real version depending on if i liked it or not :good:

I think that paying a lot of money for some more options, that you won't have on emulatoe, isn't economical. Real GB is for people, who travel a lot or have one computer for few people in home (I know something about it :)) and they can't play on their computer.

emulation is good cause you can speed up things alot if you want to skip things at a new game and you can save again if you want even when you normaly cant save that's good

I think emulation and the real game both have their strong and weak points. For emulation you can download games for free. But if they might have very awkward controls or have problems unlike the real thing. On the real game there is a bigger chance of no problems and everything usually works well. So which do you prefer?

i say emulation because you can easily cheat with saving and loading

I always use emulators, they don't really sell the games in my neighbourhood ( or if they do at ridiculous prices) besides it's real fun (esp. save state).

I'd go with the emulation because I really can't buy any real CD games, because of my mom >_>! She won't allow me! So the only way left is to play the emulation one, and it saves money as well.
