I like both, but I'm leaning a bit more towards emulation, just cause you don't need a cheat device for the cheats, and that it makes it easier to mess around with the game data.

Nothing beats authenticity IMO. But the great thing about emulation is the games I never got around to buying and are out of circulation I can still enjoy. Also it comes with a cheating device so that's also nice.

i like the emulators because you can fast forward through all the boring parts and pretty much cut to the chase but the downside is it might have some bugs and problems with it and you have to be at a console you cant take it with you wherever you end up being.

I would say the real game. Emulation is great for discontinued games, but I would much rather play the real game for games that are still in circulation.

I like the emulators better because their free. But other than price, I like everything about the real game better because i like the feel to actually hold the console.

i life emulation because, like you said, you can download free games. also, on vba i make the screen x2 and put on a filter so that the resolution is very good. the only reason i would like gba better would be because its handheld and portable, unless you wanna carry your computer on the bus to school

Emulators are nice, mainly cause they're free, but nothing quite beats playing a game on the real system.I think I'd have to say emulators though.

Emulation. You can download games for free, but the down side to this is that, it's sometimes glitchy than the real game.

I like real gaming better, but since ROMs are free... <3 But then again, I have not played ROMs much, so I may grow attached to Emulating. But still... you can't (for the most part) play an emulated game on lets say, an airplane, or bus. Unless you are lucky and own a laptop.... :/

I believe that both have their strong and weak points... but I prefer emulating PERHAPS ONLY from PS1 to VBA because the greatest advantage of emulating is the Shift+(Enter F-key here) which allows you to save anywhere and anytime, which makes almost-impossible challenges a bit easier, but then again the hard part is controlling it with the Key-pad. On the other hand, if there WERE emulation games for PS2 and advanced stuff, then I prefer to use the original console due to lagging problems on computers. I like both, but I prefer PS1 to VBA. I like emulating, but I prefer to play games with good graphics and on their original consoles. And another thing about emulating is that it's completely free, not like for games for other unportable gaming console, you have to buy the games either on cartridges or discs. So it's easier to play without paying high prices.

I like real gaming better, but since ROMs are free... But then again, I have not played ROMs much, so I may grow attached to Emulating. But still... you can't (for the most part) play an emulated game on lets say, an airplane, or bus. Unless you are lucky and own a laptop.... :/

I own a laptop, why...? It makes the ROMs harder to play coz since the laptop is smaller and has lower memory (Meaning slower speed), the game doesn't play at it's 100% best...

You've gotta admit, you can do hilarious stuff by speeding the game up in emulation. Nothing beats ultra fast paced pokemon music
