i'm not sure how you do it but i know you can either get an official driver for microsoft or something like that to play games on your PC (the only one i know you can play FOR SURE is WoW, because I have seen ads that say you can play it with your 360 controller). you can also probably download third-party drivers or mad hax, but i'm not sure if that would be a better way to go or not depending on what microsoft has.also, i know that they sell 360 controllers at the electronics stores in the PC section - they come in a different package, but i'm not sure if that's because they include something else with them that you need or if they are just packaged differently for the sake of it.

YES it is true! u need to have a wired xbox controller, then just plug it in, the driver will install automaticly, then ur good to play!I use it to play Super Smash bros! Also u can do the same with the Guitar Hero controller (x-plorer) and play Frets on Fire with it

well this is helpful, i was curious about this myself.

Ya its true. there are two ways to do this. Like if you have a wired controller just plug it in and it should install itself if it doesnt just look online for the driver. For wireless controllers you have to get a receiver from the store, it connects to your computer using usb. you can use up to 4 controllers and headsets and all that stuff. im trying to find one now actually and i think they anywhere from $16-$20 depending on where you find it.

You can only use a wired xbox 360 controller in your PC. Just let it install the drivers on its own and you should be good to go. I use my controller on every emulator i play.
