Haha I've been literally muscled out before. Entirely not necessary, I would respect her decision any time, but she wasn't mature enough then to understand or appreciate that. Lost a friend that time, oh wells.

Hmm I have. And we are actually a couple now, for quite some time, well 2 years, I don't really find it that long since we are still enjoying our time together and we're having fun. But other than that I think it's not really a nice feeling if someone likes/loves you, and you don't feel that way, but you are really good friends. Naturally you tell that person that you don't feel the same, in the nicest way possible, but he/she would still get hurt, and probably would keep a safe distance from you for some time, just so he/she can get over you at least a little. If it's the other way, if I would fall in love with a best friend (not considering my current state), and if he wouldn't feel the same way back, I wouldn't want our friendship to end, so I would try my hardest to let go of my feelings (I know easier said than done).And I'm usually against falling in love with friends, and normally i don't see them that way, but sometimes it happens and there is really nothing anyone can do about it...

It's fun, until he/she knows your in love with him... and if he/she doesnt fell the same way, then it's really really awkward, and there's some tension and finally it the most cases, you wont be friends no more... sighso think twice before u say, i'm in love with you...

i did coz i visit an auction near where i live and got friendly with the man and woman who run it and i went there one time and saw their son and liked him as soon as i saw him but was to scared to tell him as he had a girlfriend but when i went again a couple of weeks later he had split up with her so i said if he needed to talk i would listen i was going through a rough time with the man i was with so we became good mates and talked and listened to each other but my feelings changed and i liked him more and more in the end we both split with our partners and after a while got together and we still are and love each other to bits and are getting married next year and then trying for a baby

I'm not sure, but I think I am.. just kidding. I don't think I have but I wish that won't happen to me, that would be soooo awkward. If that would happen, I just wish we won't break up and be happy with each other until we die.

Unfortunately, yes I have. In fact, I screwed up half my freshman year while falling for her. Needless to say, it took a while to get back up. Of course, I fell for her again just a year later.In hindsight, she wasn't that close of a friend, but ironically, our relationship has improved over the years (nothing beyond friendship).It's probably not the best feeling in the world, but I'd say its a necessary experience. Painful, but necessary, since that's how most people learn (like me).
