This is gonna sound really cheesy, but I fell in love with one of my classmates at first sight in 4th grade. But I got over her in 8th... XDI think one of my friends likes me, though, but it's not awkward because I'm not really sure if she does.

There's a difference between having a crush and falling in love, and I crossed that border ages ago. Working with her to a better tmr, all I know now is that we're better friends than ever and that keeps feeding itself not dont it

I did it in reverse. My ex and I fell in love last year; now I'm at college and we're still tight. Even though we both know we're going to be seeing other people.

Actually, I had fallen with the older brother of my childhood friend. At that time, we were in middle school. He and I were the same age. However, he had a girlfriend and he never noticed me.I have never fallen in love with an old friend. I would definitely think that it would be somewhat awkward.

yes, turned down, ended up hating eachother. Unfortunately she started going out with my best friend and i started going out with her best friend. i found it amusing whilst she hates it.

yea it has happen to me but stayed as friends and now he has a girlfriend and dont talk no more because she get jelouse when his around me becasue she say he still got feeling for me, real awkward

Well, I've never fell in love with a close friend per say. I've just had small crushes that I get over. Falling in love is just too deep of a feeling to describe what I've felt.

I didn't fall in love, but I had a huge crush on a mate. We started dating and less than a week in he declaired he was in love with me which totally freaked me out 
things sort of went downhill from there - we still talk but its really not the same.

Yeah....just this summer it al happened.......... i had a 3 year relationship with a girl till the end of this summer, i broke up with her becuz me and my friend had just gotten so close and we decided to give it a go..... my friend lives a hour away from me but we used to see each other everyday and stay with each other in college all the time, now she had to drop out of college and im heartbroken. 
its the worst feeling in the world seriously i wudnt wish this pain on my worst enemy......
