If I can't beat a game after several tries, ill put it down, play a different game then come back to it about a month later and I end up beating it with no problem at all.If that fails then theres not much else I can do but search game faqs or cheat.

for me i use cheats. i know noobs would use cheats. but sometimes i can't beat a game.

probably i wil go to find or look detail in walkthroughs(but for game like rpg?) keep training like mad until able to beat the monsters 
if still cannot i probably wil abandon it for certain days until i get bak the mood to beat it~

It happened once for me - I played Final Fantasy IV Advance (for GBA) and I just couldn't beat the final boss - in walkthroughs they wrote they had 10 levels less than me and they did it - I tried million of times and couldn't do it. So ... the thing is ... I used cheats ... and beat the game ... such a shame ...

First I get pissed and throw it across the room or something. Then 5-6 months later I pick it up agian and bet it on attempt one. Then I wonder why it took me 6 m onths to finish the freakin thing.

I always have at least 2 save files, if i cant get past something i go back and train. If it's a game that doesn't involve combat, i go back and look for secret stuff and if all else fails i go do the cheater's way.

i usually dont play it, and just leave it there for a couple months or even years, and then when i get bored i just get the game i couldnt play and start playing again lol
