I normally use Kari, except in Pokemon, Then I'll use a boys name... Except for when I have to name my opponent, He's always butthead or something like that

I usually use the character name,especially in final fantasy.Unless it is some game which I need to name the character myself.

If the character doesn't have a pre-determined name "suggestion", I'll usually name him or her after a Japanese name that I like. For example, girls Japanese names that I like are Aki and Ayame, and I really like the boys' name Kenshin. So I'll often name my characters those.

In games where you get you get to name your character, I usually go with my own name, which is Charlie. If the game is like Pokemon, and I get to name a rival or some other character, I usually name it a close friend's name who might also have the same game.

Generally I'll name them StAn, St3ph0, or Ptolemy. However, if the main character has a name already, I tend to keep it.

My name, A shortened version if my name doesn't fit (stupid old games), or the characters default name... especially in modern games, otherwise it gets to confusing when people call the main character by name and you are all like "Who the @$%? is Cloud? Oh... you mean Jay. What do you mean his real name is Cloud? The sexual tension in my version of FFVII is between Tifa, Aerith, and Jay, I don't know who the @$%? this Cloud fellow is, but Jay is going to kick is @$? if he catches him messing with his women."

If there is an option to name your character I usually go by variations of my name Muller. From Moe, Mo, to Momo, and others if the default name fits the character I'd keep them, if not then I go all out from names from different countries, like Dmitri, Tatania, Akumi. It usually depends it the name works with the character. Like SaGa Frontier's for example, the Robot character T2600G(?) or Red and Riki, or Emelia and change their names to names that existed in different kind of games.

I use their default names most of the time. Why change what a character is naturally supposed to be called? Link will always be Link, Issac will always be Issac, and Levant will always be Levant (anyone who knows who Levant is, I applaud your knowledge of unknown, great games).

My real name, unless the default sounds good enough (like Link or Ness). Sometimes I just make stuff up, but I always make the rival have a stupid name in games that have that option (Pokemon

Blue. I played WAY too much Pokemon Blue when I was younger.In the only game I have ever played that required a longer name (2 words, guild wars) it was Master Pain (Kung Pow was the best movie ever)

i always name mine snipe because i like a sniper because it's like u can defeat somebody even if your far that your enemy can't see you yetHmm i always name link link but otherwise always seth i like the god of destruction's name

Speed Racer or some other variety of it. That or Takumi.One exception. In Adventures in the Magic Kingdom (old NES game) I use 'a dufus' just because it's fun to watch the characters talk to you and say something like:"Boy, you really are a dufus." or,"Hey, a dufus."Cracks me up everytime.Ok, so I'm easily amused...C

exactly. i always name it on who is my favorite character/name at the time. recently it's been raziel and rivals are always named kain.Well it depends who my favourite person is at that time. Nowadays if there is an option to give names i give the name as SRK which is a short form of Shahrukh Khan.

I always name myself as obilerator, because for some reason, most games that I play ALWAYS have someone else with the name obliterator. Got stuck with this name after a few games.
