It changes from game to game and sometimes, a game won't allow me to change the character's name.Although for girls, I use feeling names like Empathy or Apathy.For guys, I generally use Hayden or Xavier.

For me if it a guy I call him HAL and if it is a girl I always use GLaDOS or SAL.

the character's real name if possible. Otherwise, in games like FFI or Oblivion, I usually use Bob Martin (some random nickname my friend gave me) or I just use my first name: Robbie. Idk. If not that, then it's completely random.

in global online games i usually give the guys name anything that has (xViRuS) in it(for example...KiLleRxViRuS) <that's my main namemy other name are like AznxViRuS, NeUtrOxViRuS, etc.for girls i usually come up with stuuf like ChaoticxMagician (depending on wat type she is)for games like pokemon i just put suff like vangboiz209 or Aznboi (key word boi)

i usually give the character it's original name. (ex. "Link" for Link)but when I'm given the option to pretend I'm the one in the game like in Pokemon or Harvest Moon, then I give it my own name.

If it's a girl,I name her Ilane or Alise. If it HAS to be a boy, I would name him Kevin or something generic. Like bob. (no offense to any Bobs, Kevins, or Chucks)

I always have named them differently. First I named them Lief, then Laury, right now I name them Skrlt.

I used to use my own name or Nickname, but nowadays I generally use any of the Screen Names I use online. Unless the characters already have a set name then I keep it as it is(I only name characters if they start off with a blank).

I typically leave it as the default name.However, in some rarer cases where there isn't a default name I usually name the character James, after me of course!

It's constantly changing... Depending on how the character looks and what I'm thinking about.I tend to twist up my friends names alot and used them.

Usually i always choose another name than in the game before.What was funny was if you named you rival in pokemon "himself", there stood for example "Ash beat himself" if your name was Ash

I usually use the default names. But when there is no default name, I usually use something stupid like ????? or Unknown.

If there's a default, I keep it as the default. Otherwise, I use my name. It's only three letters, so it always fits.

Like everyone's been saying, I usually leave it as the default name. However, on Halo, when I'm playing system link games with other people, I become HellRazer!

I always name the main character their real name. If the main character doesn't have a name then I use Arreku.

for pokemon games i name my character my first name and for games that dont have the default name
