Well, I mostly play games like Disgaea and Disgaea 2. So, I tend to have to come up with all of the character names. So, I try to come up with a fitting name for all of them.

I usually name them to their default name. But sometimes I get bored and put in a random thing. i.e. asdf

You could alway just name your characters default.If not, I name mine Fluffy.

i usually call the girl character "kelsie" and the boy "troy".......kelsie is my gf and troy is my lil bro

Eh, hehe. I`m cheesy. I tend to name the main one after me, and some other dude (either a close partner or my rival if they are in the game) after mah man.

I always go with the character's real name unless they don't have a specified one in which case I'll just make one up that I think fits them.

Almost all of the games I don't usually create my own names but whenever I feel like to do naming them, I do.

I usually go by the default name.But sometimes I will give them random names.Like with Shadow in FF6, I would name him Spanky.And I would name Barette, South Paw... since he is left handed... or at least he would be what with a gun for a right arm.

it'd keep their default names if they were provided, else i'd name them hideaki or Jerome.
