Apparently Microsoft saw the success of Bioshock and told the company to make another one. Do you think they could make a sequel? What do you think it would be about?

My friend said that the developers wanted to make a sequel...and that it would include online Multiplayer this time around.

I could imagine a sequal being made. Remember that the original was left open and we don't know where the main character ends up especially since his memories were all faked. All they would need to do is give us (the players) a larger environment to explore, more plasmids to use and lastly, somehow continue where the original storyline left off. I do look forward to seeing this done naturally because I definitely want more.Making it multiplayer only though would be a mistake since it isolates gamers like myself who still enjoy those single player adventures. I hope that when they do include online play, it's not exclusive to that.

I doubt they would make it multiplayer ONLY. That wouldn't really make it a seuqel either. More of an expansion.

Yea they are making a second but it going to be done by teh end of this yearheard you start out as one of the first big daddys like trying to escape Rapture or something

uhh dude they did give you a place to end off. If you didn't harvest any little sisters you can get a "happy ending" where you live happily ever after with some of those sisters as your children above ground. If you did harvest at least one then theres the ending where you go back to the surface except with splicers that decide to start killing people. The original wasn't really left open at all.But about Bioshock 2, I'd be interested in that game. Thing is, they would need to add new elements or else the game would seem the same gameplay-wise. Don't know any details, but there is a sequel in the works; there was mention of it a few months ago in an issue of PC Powerplay (an Aussie PC gaming magazine). There were pictures of what must've been a cinematic trailer that showed a girl (who looked about ten years old or so; older than the first game's Little Sisters anyway) holding a ragdoll of a Big Daddy. She was standing in a large city on the surface of the water. Odds are, Bioshock 2 will be a prequel.

If they make a bioshock two it will be fun to play but the story will be dumb. it was clearly over. there isn't any reason to make another one other than money
