I got a slim one because I was broke the entire time they sold the fat one.

I've got a slim one. I didn't feel like getting a PS2 until about last year, right about when the PS3 started going on sale. I'm way behind the curve.

I have a slim PS2 because I bought it right when KH2 came out (for that reason only), but my friend said that her fat PS2 had a faster loading speed...

I got the slim one. By the time that I bought mine nobody sold the fat ones and it helped me a lot since i could sneak it into school whenever i wanted to play it during lunch.

I had a phat Ps2, one of the last ones. It itself was a replacement for my second one, which I had gotten to replace my first, since it was one of the buggy, problematic ones. Currently, I own a first gen Slimlime PS2, not the 2nd. For those that DON'T know the difference:First Gen SlimlineSecond Gen SlimlineOf course, there's numerous sub versions of both.
