ive got the old fat one but i have to ask is there really a difference? if you look at both of them it looks like the slim one is better and more portable but the old one looks like it could take a beating.

I Used to have the slim one, but it died and I got an old one for Christmas.

I used to have the old one till it brokeon me. It just wouldn't read any disk. So I had to buy a slimline one. much better really since I have no bought a travel kit with it. Although i only use the monitor.

I have the original PS2. I've never had any kind of problem with it working and I've had it about 4 years now.

I have the original just because I bought it close to when it came out. Seeing as it is still alive, I have no need to replace it for a slim.

I HAD the original... but my brother lost it. <__<' I bet one of his friends have it ... my brother's so freaken forgetful and gullible.I got it when it first came out and it's was a crap load of $ =.=' then like a month later the price drops. That really pissed me off.

I personally went with a slim design PS2(bought it a new one a few months ago). I generally prefer it to the original design because it takes up more space, and seems to be more durable/lasts longer than the older ones I've had in the past.

I got the slim version, I like it too, it's got a nice look to it. Better than the bulkier version if you ask me.

my 4 old ones got hit once and were screwed up but my slim one has gotten hit like crazy but works like its newive got the old fat one but i have to ask is there really a difference? if you look at both of them it looks like the slim one is better and more portable but the old one looks like it could take a beating.

I have the Silm PS2. I've had no problems with it at all. It hasn't broken and is in working condition.

The slim one it is sweet use to play taken 3 and taken 5 and some pro whenever friends come over got it for only 100 $ with a chip that plays hacked games 
not here
