My favorite had to be blue/red, but leaf green and fire red are great too. I love all the original pokemon, specially my bulbasaur.

silver/gold has the most pokemon, thus it is the best. but thats just my opinion.

pokemon emerald as i really liked ruby/saphire and emerald adds more to it which makes it better in my opinion unlike in the others where it just keeps the things the same apart from a few different pokemon in each version

I say Diamond/Pearl, since the Wi-fi trading makes life a lot easier when you're looking for a certain Pokemon or need to evolve through trade. That and it's like 3 times longer than the older games with all the after League quests that're available.

Wow the results r so close I thought ppl would like the newer ones more but ok I guess it it just diff. tastes.........but def. Diamond/Pearl for me I lve freakin excavating the dig sites on the touch screen it is just addicting especially with 2 ppl linked & you get to uncover all kinds of rare stones & stuff idk I just get hooked..............

i like Ruby and Sapphire mostly... but my first ever Pokemon game was GOLD so its my fav. but i play Ruby more then gold, cause i dont have a GBC anymore so i cant play it.

I enjoyed the pokemon rpg's for the cube. I wish they'd be ambitious though and make a pokemon mmorpg! Now THAT I would love and pay for! Including subscription fees To litterally have a large scale world, where there aren't preset paths and things and where you can travel around, litterally have to get from gym to gym, have the option to get a professor pokemon or work up, get your own pokeball and go out hunting one on your own! Plus it'd be awesome if they had maybe various servers..that represented the various regions and your account was restricted to whatever region you chose to start in, until you have reached a certain level of experience or what not. ^^;But since that doesn't exist Pearl and

Personally it was Red/Blue (More so Blue)They were the original and the best.However I have Diamond, Pearl, Ruby, Sapphire, F. Red and L. Green. That way I was able to complete the Pokedex to the fullest I can.I just haven't been able to get a hold of Jiriachi, Deoxys and the rest that you needed to go to events in order to get the Items for the rest of those Super Rare Legendaries.

Hmm...despite being older, horrid graphics...and slow gameplay. Crystal is the best...no question. 16 badges...and it's so uber to go back and beat Kanto...I mean I beat R/B/Y, then I was sorta sad to leave Kanto on Crystal, but when I got to go back three years later! Seeing the ol' gang. Koga a elit 4? his sister the fushia city gym leader? Misty grown up? brock with a shirt on? (Play R/B/Y....you know what I mean. It's a awsome game...to be they don't re make it like R/B.
