I will have to say Blue. It was the first GBC game i had, and the MissingNo glitch was cool......it killed the cartridge though.....

i like the old games red, blue and yellow the best. they were the most challeging in my oppinion

dimaond and pearl are deffo the best games, the online trading and community on it was amazing, with loads of furoms and sites, and everyone was friendly.i loved the training an EV training, so many dynamics to the game, made it playable for countless hours.dont get me wrong, the others were amazing but diamong > all!

i really liked pokemon crystal because you got a cell phone and cuz of the day and night featurejeez there were alot of things i lked about this one ill just make a list :) ok i liked : the fact thet you can be a boy or a girl, that you could go th the other region and catch the original pokemon, the cheats were easy to do lol, the pokemon looked cool :]

I loved the battling system in D/P, the Special/Physical re-working was much needed. Graphics upgrade certainly helped too.

Yellow would have to be my favorite game. First off it showed how good GBC was. Then the fact that Pikachu was your starting pokemon which made me really happy (hence the username). It was also similar to the show, and by that time I wanted to see a game similar to Ash. Yellow was definately my favorite pokemon game.

the reason i like sapphire is cause its got a good story, unlike pokemon silver which is kinda lame, and blue, which is ALSO lame with the becoming the greatest pokemon master and also with the Pokedex

Yeah, can't really judge a Pokemon game on their story since almost each and every one is exactly the same. Only slight variations and the story is very simple and trite. Catch Pokemon, beat Team [insert name here], beat all the gyms, beat the Elite "Four" (always had 5, so really quite a misleading name), and become world trainer number one. Anyway, favorite game is easily Gold. Never understood why everyone hated the 8 gyms in Kanto, I thought that was a great idea and disliked that every other game didn't do that. Also liked the fact that you fought Red who wasn't neccesarily hard, but at least he was someone that could give you more challenge than the Elite Four. Blue is easily a close second because of all the glitches which made the game hilarious.

I've already finished play silver,gold and crystal. For me, i prefer crystal most. now i play ruby and game sound, animation is really cool. Still i choose crystall from all and nice if it can be remake on gba.

Emerald was probably the best, in my opinion.You had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Pokemon, you had an extended ending [battle frontier], no good/bad guys, you could catch Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza, and Steven, at the end, is actually a good trainer, and I actually had some trouble with him.Emerald was really exciting and stuff. :3
