Avria's AntiVir & Kaspersky got rated 98% in a recent PC Mag review so if you want paid go Kaspersky, if you want free try Avria's AntiVir or stick with AVG.

I use Spyware Doctor combined with XoftSpySE and McAfee. I reckon it's a pretty good combination. XoftSpy scans pretty quick and picks up most spyware. then i just get spyware doctor to get rid of some viruses and the few spyware that xoftspy missed. and mcafee gets rid of alot of viruses and keeps them out. however, since i upgraded my comp to windows vista i dont noe why but vista keeps disabling my McAfee.

ESET is the best by far after using many others ESET is worth the price and it runs silently and catches viruses without interfeering with anything else

1 programe isnt right because different scans can pickup different stuff (e.g.- avg free picks up alot of spyware but mcaffe picks up more viri the avg can miss)just depends on what ur trying to remove from ur comp

i'd say Panda, it's good and it doesn't use much resources, good for online gaming

Personally, I've used Kaspersky for the past couple of years, and this, coupled with common sense, has avoided me having any computer-breaking viruses etc..., so all in all I'd recommend it to others.
