I have a DS Lite. I've tried DS emulation on a computer and it's just not as good (low speed, low frame rate, lack of wi-fi, lack of microphone etc)

Yes, I have an original Onyx DS Lite. I'm thinking about getting another one so I can complete getting all the ship parts in Zelda Phantom Hourglass. It seems that the only way to get all the gold ship parts is to trade. I have one save game that has wheels up the wazoo but no bridge, another that has the bridge but no smoke stack, and another that has no wheels. I have found that there is always one random part that you can never get in a single game. If there is some trick to get all the parts without having 2 DSLs, please let me know.I have run the emulator on the PC and it's cool but the main reason I like the DS is I can play just about anywhere. When I have to fly, the DS and headphones are a life saver! I hate the constant drone of the engines, even though if that drone stopped mid-flight, I think I'd hate that a lot more.. :P Jimbo

I have the original DS. The silver paint is scratched pretty bad at this point, and neither shoulder button works well (L button never does, R button only if you blow in it first), but it still works. And that's all I ask of it.

I doo i have a ds i play many games on it :P

I have a DS. I'm not a huge fan, actually, of pirating games for current systems -- if I can still go to GameStop or a supermarket with videogames and buy it, it's not something I want to pirate and just grab the ROM. However I will, admittedly, sometimes use a GBA (until GBA games of interest to me petered out) or DS emulator to preview a game, usually in it's Japanese release before the US release. I just can't justify the ever increasing size of ROMs and my own game library in the face of how few games I actually play -- so I stick with the real deal at least while it's modern.
