Funny, I recently had a discussion about Mewtwo with one of my friends ^^He said he disliked Mewtwo, since he didn't fit in with the rest of the Pokémon. I, as the wisecat I am, had an explanation ready for that: Mewtwo technically isn't a Pokémon, he's a genetically enhanced recreation of Mew.(also, the name "Mewtwo" is very, very lame..)I actually think Mewtwo added something extra to pokémon, he erased some of its kiddy-ness.Gave pokémon a cooler look.Yes, I think mewtwo is neither cheap nor perfect.I recently had an argument with one of my buddies concerning Mewtwo. Being an old school pokemon gamer, I spent much of my youth leveling and catching em all. My brother and I both used a full bench of Mewtwos, all PC trained to insanely high levels. My friend refused to see it from my point of view: Mewtwo is the best Pokemon, I will use it. He saw it this way: Mewtwo is a cheap Pokemon, I wont use it.What do you think? Is mewtwo the best choice for a pokemon, or is it just too cheap to use.

Mewtwo is actaully strong in pokemon emerald and in other games. Because I had a mewtwo at lv75 and i beat my friends lv 78 groundon and lv71 Registeel. I did that with only mewtwo.

meh... mewtwo was n prbably is a bit overrated... a strong dragonite or arcanine could cane mewtwo... arcanine with his awesome speed n dragonite with his ridiculously strong attack

Mewtwo is both. There really isnt such a thing as perfect anything, but Mewtow is very strong in the original games though. I would say that in the old and new school games you could train quite a few pokemon to match his strength though.

Mewtwo: cheap imitation of Mew, but a Perfect stat spread. Use him if you want. But watch out for Ghost type pokemon. Now there's a really cheap set of pokemon to use. Can't use fighting or normal attacks on them.

heh back in the day i had a lvl 250 mewtwo and 255 snorlax for duels, and the ONLY way to kill snorlax was to use 1 hit KOs. lol my friend and i would always duel at school and he'd always fail with his blastoise's fissure but he did hit once and i was sad but then out came mewtwo and he was dead :] now don't look at me like a cheap bastard i did have a real team for duels but they still beat his butt.

I personally find Mewtwo to be very good and hard to catch with any other Pokeball's other than master balls. He does saves you the opportunity to level up all your guys to Lv. 100 since he does come in Lv. 70.

Mewtwo is overrated, in my opinion.A fast Dark Pokemon will cut him up. Or maybe a Ninjask using X-Scissor.Yeah, I'm all for that last one. Being beaten by a non-Uber Bug type is embarrassing.

my mewtwo lv 99fire blast 5/5psychic 10/10thunderbolt 15/15ice beam 10/10 it can beat the elite four plus rival all on its own!pretty cheap i would say

If you use it as a standard battle Pokemon it not cheap but if you use it as a level 100 beat all with no trouble then you've made it cheap.

personly, I use Mew, manly because a level 60something Mew, is just as powerful as as a Level 70 Mewtwo. but Mewtwo is still pretty good.I used a Glitch to get mew.

mewtwo is an alright pokemon to have when ur pokemon are at lvl 50 or so, but i wouldnt have 6 of them in my party, that is idiotic

its lame. i would probly train mine to be strong and unleash him only in tournys as a last resort but other than that, id shove it in storage and forget about it like a rabid fuggly dog that every one thinks is super awesome cause its rare and a pain to catch
