shadow himself is a weapon. why does a weopon need another weapon. I don't undestand it but killing and other needless violence in video games is a good Idea. they should make games where you run around killing people for no reason. sega would make millioins on it. because everyone wants a game where you just kill people and get away with it.

I agree with that thought of an RPG. I love Sonic. I love RPGs. So, naturally, I'd love that idea. I'm a Sonic loyalist... and probably always will be, but I'm not afraid to say when there's a Sonic game that disappoints me. Sonic Heroes was disappointing. It didn't go fast enough, and didn't really make sense to begin with. Granted, I LOVED the idea of the end boss, until he transformed into that huge dino thing. (Notice Sonic Team's obsession with huge bosses now?)I liked Sonic Adventure 2 a lot. And I'm looking forward to this game, but I agree that a gun in a sonic game, that isn't mounted onto a robot or something, is dumb.Personally, I think Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the best game(s) in the series.Now, a recommendation. An RPG, you guys may not like it - but I think it might even save the Sonic Games. It did with Mario (Super Mario RPG).

I think this could be a good game if they dump the gun part. Sonic and his friendshas always used their own skills to fight bad guys they don't need weapons with theException of Amy and her hammer.

hmm...shadow having a gun.....it doesnt suprise me because robotnic is always cheating crap......but this is like a gun with bulllets i was thinking it was a gun with little laser rays or something....that killed it....if it was like a novelty laser kind of gun that wouldnt be all that bad....but either way the gun will get to the kids, and the gun will prolly make kids beg momy...not the gamers, the gamers obviosaly see this is a downside...

ive got a lot of sonic games so no doubt ill end up owning this one but i feel they should have let shadow go at the end of sa2 where he was liked instead of outstaying his welcome in sonic heroes with an odd plotline.Also guns being introduced seems bad, kinda reminds me of how ffx-2 tried to get popular.

heard boiut just a bit more better graphics then sonic adventure battle 2 but the gun and everything is kwite good i think it will reveal the secret of shadows past a bit more

When I started reading this, I thought 'hm... SHADOW's back as the main character of a new game... sounds promising. Let's have a closer look...'While the trailer hasn't been working 'cause my net's screwy, the moment I HEARD about the gun I figured; nup, this one's already dead in my books.IMO; how does including a gun appeal to anyone who's followed Sonic through the ages and knows what the games are about? Since the dawn of creation that blue, spiky hedgehog has been racing around our screens jumping with that cool *boing* noise and crushing enemies with his pointy butt. While SHADOW is one of my favourite characters, even if he's not entirely accepted by the masses, he was a pretty kick-donkey character in Sonic Battle 2.Now they've destroyed the ENTIRE Sonic franchise by giving SHADOW a gun!As I said; I couldn't see the trailer, though, so I don't think I can entirely talk about the game like this. If they took the gun out of it, though, I'd definitely be interested to keep tabs on this game. But, a Sonic character with a gun? It just doesn't fit at all.I'd actually prefer to play an ATARI game than see a Sonic character with a gun of any sort! Okay, maybe I'm not THAT against it, but I'm close!!

I agree...that, and I found the play control to be very lacking, even frustrating at times. The confusing plot line didn't help either; from the very beginning, you have two voices telling you to perform opposite tasks, so for the uneducated beginner, who can tell what to do?I rented it and was shocked by how bad it was. Guns do not make a good game.

this game is very bad. Shadow with a gun,ahahah make me laught . This game is only for the mega giga fan of shadow.For all other fan of sonic, forget it and keep playing to sonic adventure 2. Less time will be waste in your life

The game was alright...but not really all that great. Don't really want to keep on playing over and over to see the different endings.

Never actually played the full game to the end, however I did borrow it from a friend for a while. It was great. However, after a while.. well the Light , Dark and Neutral stages to repeat one another in some ways... then again, once you get used to it.. I guess all of it looks the same...

I played it its not bad, its just like sonic adventure 2 btu with only shadow and more confusingm only reason its good since it tel u ALot more about shadows past
