Could you please link us to where you found this information. I'm finding it hard to believe that, 1. the budget for the game would be any bigger than what it cost to pay the USUAL 50 to 100 people making it. I'm also pretty sure 2. It's been in production for about 3 years.Besides all of that, I have both games, and have played them religiously. Simply from a playtime standpoint, I've played Saints Row TONS more than I've played GTA IV because saints row is more fun.GTAIV has spent a little over 5 years in development with a team of over 1,000 people working on it at some point and a budget of over $100 million dollars, making it the most expensive game ever made. Not only that but they promoted the hell out of it by placing their ads all over buildings, billboards, and just about every other public place you can think of. Technicalities aside it's a really good game and wins me over from Saints Row. The game had me laughing with its dialog right from the beginning and it's almost flawless in every way. There's too much detail and you just know RockStar poured their hearts into this.

Saints Row will not be nearly as big as GTA IV. It can't match the story telling and it won't as immersive as GTA. Nobody can make a free roam third person action game like Rockstar.

Saints row 1 was a great game when i played on xbox360.Then played Gta iv on Ps3.Gta iv was better because of many reasons and i dont think even Saints row 2 can put a fight with Gta iv.Saints row 2 would not have cover,the new police wanted level, no euphoria ,Saints row 2 will have planes ,costomizable(gangs,safe houses,cars), that was not present in gtaiv.Saints row 2 difference from the first one are that they will include more cars and guns , planes ,bikes,costomizable(gangs,safe houses),bigger map.From the first one they have improved.

GTA IV will kick saints row's ass because the graphics are no match for GTA's graphics. And the cars in GTA are much more realistic than the cars in saints row

GTA4 has had many games in the past, while this is Saints Row's debut game, so I think as a debut game it is nice, and since GTA4 has been out longer; more players will agree it is better. Saints Row is a good game, but compared to GTA4 is really isn't that good as people would think of. Saints Row 2 sounds like it is going to an amazing game due to the fact they are adding some new things that GTA4 doesn't have, and some of this is the fact SR2 will let you totally change what you look like. I also heard they are going to be adding a lot more missions and more things that will bring the total hours of game play rising up.

they are both great at different ways, GTA4 is just great because its GTA 
and Saints Row is cool because i just like it, they can't be compared, they're both cool games, i am almost done with the story of GTA4 and it's AWESOME!

I lol'd at this thread. No joke here guys, I lol'd for real. The obvious, GTA IV wins by far. The only reason it was seemed good, was because it was something designed to be out there to amuze people until GTA IV actually came out. Now that it's out, Saint's Row will just, fade away.

I like GTA but honestly its all based on preference so really it doesnt matter whats good to everyone its just what you think your gonna play the most.
