You just have to take care of it properly...But also I did get a year warranty on it just in case.

Yes, especially with the touch screen. Its too sensitive and if abused with the fingers it might just get inaccurate with the stylus.

I have a friend who has a DS Lite that has broken clips that are supposed to hold up the top screen, now he has to hold it up himself.I only have the older DS, and it's still in top shape. Then again, I have been careful with it.

Nah, I dropped my Lite around 15 times and all that happened was the top screen got a little out of center but you can't even tell unless you look really close.

I used to never put system in a carrycase until I got the DS. I do believe it is more fragile then it's older brothers ;) However like any gaming system, I believe they're all sort of fragile so...But yes, with it's touch screen and sometimes slick grip, it is more fragile ^^~Elizabeth

Yeah, it is veeeeeery fragile. But because I never let it fall or anything of the sort, it looks new.

I think it is... as my brothers DS is in 2 seperate pieces... It only fell off the bed onto the carpet! It depends on how much you take care of it really. Being careless is a big no-no.

Well i personally think that the DS is too fragile . I dropped it 2 times and it broke .But the PSP is really solid , 9 times and it just has a scratch .

Yes because I already bought 3 ds in my life time

Personally i think that, no, the DS isnt fragile. I dropped it a million times and it's still working as if i had just bought it.

It's been pretty durable for me, but then again it's usually closed when I drop it. I imagine if it was open it would've broken a hundred times over by now.

fragile or not fragile, if you keep it properly (with care), it will never break.

I have a phat DS, and I'd say it at least feels sturdy. I've never really dropped it or anything, but the size of it gives the impression of indestructability lol
