how do you beat omega weapon?

I killed him using Squall, Rinoa and Zell...At the start cast aura on everybody followed by a holy war...After that, keep using limit breaks...regarding zell, only use punch rush and booya...killed him on my first try...and all of them were 99...

the best way is to use zell, coz he can do booya den use punch rush repeatedly to coz alot of damage. If his attack is strong, then it will be powerful. N also put lionheart with squall and it that is going to be great. the last person i will prefer it to be rinoa. rinoa can deal quite some damage with the limit break.

Hey man, just go and get the LionHeart sword for Squall (refer www.gamefaqs.com) and hit this thing with his limit praying for him to perform the ragnarok. The rest of the team should just heal, although Irvine could also attack with the pulse weapon (hoping you have some).

well, i haven't played ff 8 so much,but you i know, i does heard something very useful for you hereomega weapons can be killed by selphie alone!well, it does need a lot of luck anyway, i just heard that you can kill omega weapon very easily with selphie's final limit attack, the end, but it will need a lot of luck to get it, just like using cait sith in ff7...hope this can help you

what he's saying is if your using the squall/rinoa/irvine strategy...where u r using aura spells...casting gfs is a waste of time and aura magic tend to last for just a few mins... better do limitbreaks instead... kill swiftly i always sayHow come? The Eden GF can do 50,000 to Omega Weapons if Boosted all the way. Also, if Eden's compatibility is 1000 with a character, it should be called before Omega gets another chance to attack. If your GF is killed, then you can always resort to other attacks, but remember that the GFs act like a secondary life bar.oh and Aston. Why bother keeping your rare cards if you never use them? They don't give you any special bonuses at the end of the game (nor any special endings either). If you're in the last palace you might as well utilize their powers. Trust me, the battle will be that much easier with holy wars.

that was a very difficult battle, i had to try several times even with a full max lvl partymy team was: Squall, Irvine, Zellwhy? because those three got the strongest limit breaks (specially Zell if you spam the simplier moves quickly when on low hp with aura cast on him you can do about 150k dmg in a single limit)but really, i dont think there is a set strategy to beat him, healing and protective magic wont do, because mostof his attacks either, instant kills, leave hp at 1, instant kill whole party, so you need luck
