I prefer to buy most of my games legally. However, there are a lot of games/systems that I don't have but want games for, so I get an emulator (hence the reason I'm here ).What I want to know is: how many of your games are legal, and how many are illegal?I have maybe 10 games that are completely illegal. well, i have prob. over 500 emulations with like 10 different style emulators(NES, SNES, GBA, N64, Neo_Geo, Arcade, FBA, Sega, Mame, SMS, and Playstaion). so all of those are illegal. but i didnt download all those myself, my friend gave almost all of them to me when he got shipped off to Iraq. i only download GBA games.i own a bunch of games for a lot of system, if i added them all up, it would be somewhere close to 300 games for around 6 systems that i still own.

i possess maybe $2000 CND worth of illegal software (maybe even more, now that SNES games are collector's items); meanwhile, i have maybe $200 worth of legal games. it's kinda sad when i think about it...

I must be a bad kid. When I want games, I am first complied to go out and buy them. But as I am increasingly poor, and some games you just can't buy period, I've turned to emulators. I have maybe 7-10 legal roms, and every single on of the rest of the...ohhhh....60 or 70 are just illegal, but you can't quote me on saying that. I hate "stelaing" from good companies that need the money, per se, but yeah...I actually own all the systems I have emulators for, or have bought them at some point in time and had games for, so no bad feelings there. But some RPGs are just really hard to get, and not to mention expensive.

I would say about 40 illegal ones compared to 15 legal ones. Imagine paying for all the illegal ones. Assuming each one is $20, then its 20*40 = $800!! Look at all the money im saving.

lets see....................i have emulators for gba, snes, n64 and plasystation so i'd say in total out of all of those, i have over 500 games, mostly gba and snes though since the don't take up a lot of room.for legal games, i only have pc games, but have well over 75 different games that i've spent well over $400 on, so their pretty expensive.but that's about it for the games.

I own about 75 legal games and 12 illegal games. All the illegal games i own are roms(gba roms). I used to buy gba games before i found out about roms.

i have about five legal games and a bunch of questionable games my bro. got meplus i can put games on my PS2 hard drive. so thats about 10 illegal PS2 games :whistle2: i also had a ton of roms but my HD got erased so now i have about 40 roms

All my console games I have always bought, even when my friends were getting their playstation chipped etc. I'm not that much of a PC gamer so I'm more preferenced to download those, though I rarely keep them.

compared to my illegal games, my legal ones wimper.. i had/have so many downloaded/copied games, way more than the ones i bought.. i probably bought around 50-100 legal games.
