I've been playing Soulcalibur from the first one so I'm sticking with that.

soul calibur because of the new character they put in. soul calibur 2 has link. soul calibur 4 has yoda, death vador and the appearances.

i think the soul calibur series is much better then the Mortal Kombat series. Soul Calibur just has better charaters.

I like Mortal Kombat beter. The storylines are beter since part 1, and since Deadly Alliances the combo system is also great, and can compete with the one from Soul Calibur. The graphics are different from each other, though the quality has the same level. But, as a mature player, I like the dark, gore graphics of MK beter. Also the MK characters appeal more to me. They really have a great character design. And, come on, if Soul Calibur would be really cool, you had to write it Soul Kalibur, don't you?

I think mortal combat owns soul calibur with all the new characters and new moves introduced. Though there are some people who would disagree with me.

Mortal Kombat on the Gamecube had more "Kontent" than Soul Calibur. With the story modes and side games alone, Mortal Kombat is better even without the blood and gore!

Mortal Kombat Games are LegendDudeWow they have a Great Story Line and MoviesOnly thing soul calibur has for it is Featuring Link in one of its games.

SOUL CALIBUR ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The MK series mainly just focused on seeing how much blood they could fit on the screen.

I prefer the Mortal Kombat series over just about any fighting games other than Dead or Alive, so I gotta go with MK.

Soul Cal anyday baby.I love the system of blocking and parrying.I love the weapons and styles,mortal kombat just seems all too similar. sure it's cool, but i don't have time to memorize button combos to rip out a spine.I just wanna stab someone with my quarterstaff (kilik FTW)

Mortal Kombat games have gotten too numerous, so theyve become old and boring.Thats why I prefer Soul Caliber, its newer and the storyline hasnt started becoming repetitive yet.

i like mortal kombat games cause you know when your putting the hurt on the other guy, but on a technical standpoint soul caliber is much better(except you soul caliber 4

I have always enjoyed the vast possibilities of customizations Soul Calibur has to offer but personally speaking there is something very visceral about performing finishing moves on a defeated opponent. I don't know, call me crazy but I'm going to go with Mortal Kombat but only out of nostalgia for the old classics, none of that 3d stuff really works out because the concept of the game didn't have a 3d world in mind. Sure it's nice and pretty impressive but I'll stick to my old guns.

I like Mortal Kombat alot better, I mean the Soul Calibur series came out a bit later then when MK did. Soul Calibur is a good series, but Mortal Kombat is better, and always will be better.

soul caliber is much better than mortal combat mainly cue to all the entwistin well though out story lines and cut scenes that can be seen in many of them..... soul caliber has a greater support and it shows wiht tha games features, graphics and performances if u compare both titles games when they were brought out around th right time
