i play final fantasy tactics A2 cuz its predecessor gave us less to play with but the new game totally kicked the old one in the teeth.with FFTA2 having more species,jobs,and tons of more quests,items,skills,animations,and a suspensful storyline,this game is just pure awesome.What is your reason for playing the Final Fantasy games???????

final fantasy games are so popular becuase there just rock to the core man. they been the leading rpg since 1990's and they keep upgrading the graphics and the game play. but i thing i hate is that they dont put the story back to final fantasy 7

I always thought Final Fantasy was weird until i played it. It had a nice storyline, new versions kept on coming out and i love the graphics/animations.

What made FF so good was probably the gameplay was semi revolutionary back in its day. And then when they started working for on story they made really good stories. Who doesn't like a good RPG story about saving the world and what not.

They are so popular because of the great stories, twists and lovely character designs. Also the music and the graphics are always state of the art.

welllin my opinion, there are three main reasonsfirst: graphics. It is not bad at all. Even the GBA ones are really nice.second: story. Always surprises. THat is my thought. i think the story lines are tightthird: characters. You have to admit that the designs fro them are great. SO many cool guys (Clound, Zack) and girls (Tifa, Yuna)yeahm so that is my thoughts

Awesome sound track (love one winged angel), decent battle system, satisfactory graphics, good story lines. It's a decent game series overall.

i think they are great because unlike alot of other games Square enix (or soft) actually puts a story in the game worth playing.

i think the reason everyone loves them is for the storyline. you seem to get lost in the story.... specially the old ones such as final fantasy 7 and 8they are easy the best

Final Fantasy games are so popular for one simple reason. They represent what we wished we had, fight monsters all day, have hot women walking around in barely nothing, and be the hero, not to mention have kick-arse amazing hair

I'm not sure why i have always liked final fantasy games. Its probably just the fact that i am drawn to that kind of gameplay. Other than that, i like how, aside from final fantasy 10 and it's sequel, each game has its own respective story and character list.

What's better? Final fantasy series or the tales series? I personally like the tales series because of its battle system but everyone I talk to loves Final Fantasy, which to be honest has never grabbed me.

i think it's because of the influence of its first games that makes it great up till now. because of FF7,8,X,tactics,chocobo, and even kingdom hearts, it made the impression,"another final fantasy game? i'll look forward to it!". final fantasy got beefed up to the hype it deserves.
