the reason i like it is because it has good graphics its game play is fun to me and the story is great

thats a good question. i personally don't like Final fantasies except VII but i hate the story, well all the FF stories suck. I think people like it because the media or the companys supporting it or maybe the good graphics or something.

I really dunno why. After playing FFVII, I was just compelled to buy FFVIII, IX, X, X-2, XI, XII, XII revenant wings and III on DS.

Cause its cool.The girl character such ac Ashe(FFXII) and Princess Garnet(FF9) are charming.The hero also have cool looking faces.Its gameplay also better than other game i play.

I think the pretty graphics and interesting character design is enough to draw new people in (I played FF7 just because I love the figures) but I think they keep coming back because of familiar battle and leveling systems. It's comfortable. When you go to another RPG with a radically diffrent battle system and graphics that are nice....but no quite as nice as FF you begin to realize how good you had it with FF.I think this argument could be applied to a lesser extent to Zelda, though I would ascribe more character driven appeal there as well.

OK, Final Fantasy has a great and amazing story line, also its turn base action kinda takes a while, but still makes the game fun.

Haha i first started playing it because my friend loved final fantasy to the extent that hes kinda creepy, so i tried it out, and theyre just awesome games

they invest in story, usually, and now the graphics tend to be nice (sometimes they over-invest in that now)

Apparently you never tried fighting the WEAPONs in FF7 without over leveling or something. Or ousting Omega in FF5. Or.. try and conquer the Dragons Den in FF6 Advance.. among other hard FF bosses/areas both optional and mandatory. They're known for their story, music (especially the music), smooth combat, difficulty, and for basically starting what RPG's are today.Final Fantasy games are not hard and are not played or popular for difficulty
