RPGs are on every system, and in great numbers. I don't know what would make you think that there aren't very many.FF basically 'invented' RPGs and people have just stuck to them forever.mostly cause theres alot of rpg fans and not to many rpg games

Final Fantasy VII has the best storyline ever. Final Fantasy VIII I think has the greatest graphics on the Playstation 1. Final Fantasy 9 is okay as well.

My reason for playing Final Fantasy games is because of the character development and storyline. I like to get attached to my characters and square is good at creating a bond between the player and their characters

The games get a lot of polish and care put into their creation. Obviously this is fed even further by their popularity and success as a brand. Personally I think they are over rated, but at the same time respect the amount of work that is put into them and the 'mythology' behind them. I've had friends enjoy/recommend them to me countless times over the years.

i like final fantasy becuz they are kinda like interactive animated books. Thats why i dont really like the tactics games, cuz the storyline isnt the main thing in it...

Simple, Square Enix hired good people. They hired one person who's an extremely great artist, and SE hired groups of people who are extremely creative. That company has assembled all the talented people all into working with the series like Final Fantasy.I like them because the storylines and characters and graphics are so well-made. I sometimes wonder how they thoughtof everything...

Once I played Final Fantasy 8, I got hooked and started trying out the other Final Fantasies. I like them cause it's something I can sit down with and not have to put super amounts of effort, ('cept grinding) and beat.That, and the fanbase is bigger than the moon.

In most games, its the captivating story lines that attract people. (i.e. FF4,FF7,FF8,FF10).

I like Final Fantasy for its great and sometimes complex storyline and depth in character development. RPG is my favorite genre, and FF is perfect in all the elements of an RPG. FF6 was the one that really hooked me to the series for its awesome plot and soundtrack. FF7 isn't my favorite in the series, but it's got a very interesting villain that you normally don't see in video games. And like others have said, each installment in the series has a new story, world, characters, and gameplay that makes you want to explore them all.

Probably because of the great storyline and the excellent personalities of the characters. The gameplay has a lot to do with it too.

I know that I love FF games because I grew up with them. I was actually around WAAAAY back when FF1 came to the NES. I've been hooked ever since. I usually buy systems based on FF titles. From FF2&3 on SNES to then buying a PS1 just for FF7, throught to now, I just love the series. I guess I'm a bit of a fan-boy, but I will say I hated 8 and 11. From the storyline & plot, to the graphics and the music - Final Fantasy does surely ROCK!!!!
