Okay, guys there's a slight problem with the DS Crystal Chronicles rom, I'm just going to go ahead and gather up the information, feel fry to comment.

Undine (03/11/2008 01:13PM)WORKING WITH:Acekard R.P.G.CycloDS EvolutionEDGEM3 RealSupercard DS One (disable patching)NOT WORKING WITH ("Thank you for playing" screens):DSTTM3 Perfect MiniSDM3 SimplyR4Starting from the save point and going to the door a second time gets you past the screen, but they occur later on as well.

TheLittleGuy (03/11/2008 07:50PM)everybody is getting that message u guess...http://www.dsfanboy....r-playing-ffcc/

An interesting tactic on behalf of Square methinks, annoyed but touché to them!

Fixed link:http://www.dsfanboy....r-playing-ffcc/I'm using the supercard rumble SD micro, and I'm having problems with it freezing at times, when I use the touch screen. I'm gonna try a different dump...

Yeah I got it in the first chapter after about 20 minutes of gameplay. luckily it was like a minute after I saved. It's annoying, though.

No problems thus far with a CycloDS Evo. I also played the Japanese version a bunch a while back without issue, aside from not being able to understand the dialog... I'd test with an M3 Real as well, but it's currently on loan to a friend.

I have a feeling it's gonna have problems with most Slot 2 flashcarts, because that has to be the only way I can imagine they'd be able to detect if the game is a dump or from the original cart.

To clarify what I meant, when I try and load the game, I just get a white screen. I don't even get into the game let alone "Thank you for playing" screens. So yeah =((I don't think its my DS or R4 cause other games workblahhhh

Do you have the latest firmware? 1.16, It atleast lets you play, but doesnt fix the "thank you for playing" bug.

Works, but it does get the "Thank you for playing screens." At least, I've seen it once.

I'm sure it will be hacked within a day or two. No way the scene is gonna let this game go unplayable.

Fingers crossed! From what I've heard it's merely a skipping error in the rom, so it doesnt need too much hacking ..i think >.<

Hhmm.. I've played this game on my R4 yesterday (firmware version 1.16) and I also got the bug a few times, but I can tell now that it isn't a anti-piracy sustem. After the "thank you for playing " screen it the screen becomes aa bit strange for one second and restarts. It looks almost the same if you go straight back to the main menu of R4 so this isn't a safety. I also heard that another rom called Ninja Reflex didn't work so most likely it is an issue with the firmware and probably not the rom.

Ok, we'll do that, for now just keep checking for firmware updates, however as it's not an anti-piracy thing the rom's not going to need to be hacked. Ill post when a new R4 firmware is up, someone else will have to keep an eye on the M3 firmware though.

Yeah, I think the firmware glitch is more accurate than them actually building a stealing-free game. Unless I'm mistaken, the latest update for M3 Simply is the 1.12? I'll be checking daily.EDIT: So, I downloaded the R4 Firmware, 1.16 from here: http://www.linfoxdom...om/nintendo/ds/And used this patcher to convert the firmware from R4 to M3Simply (I don't know this is necessary, my friend said that the R4 should work on an M3 anyway): http://neosource.1em...php?topic=728.0And I've been playing for... 30 minutes past my last save, so I think... it might work?
