I'd say The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, since it's just such an odd book. I couldn't release it from my hands at the time I was reading it.

Tailchaser's Song by Tad Williams. Best book I ever read. I can read it cover to cover, then flip back to the first page and start all over again. I actually had to order a second copy because my original one (which was like, 5 years old, and was a 15th anniversary edition, too) was being held together by packing tape. x3

I love spanish literature authors such as Miguel de Unamuno or Valle inclan, I recently read a book i loved it was Niebla by Unamuno. If you're not intrested in spanish literature, then, there's always Joyce and Virginia Wolf.^_^

A Brief History of Time... not really the most advanced book, I know, but it inspired me to go in a completely different direction with my career

California Angel by Nancy Taylor Rosenberg. It's a legal thriller with a supernatural twist.

My favorite book is definitely Victor Hugo's Les Misérables, although I've never had the pleasure of reading it in the original French--mostly because I don't know how to read French. That can be a barrier. Other books I adore include Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things, Paulo Coehlo's By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, and Jeanette Winterson's The Passion.

A few of my favorite books are Timeline, Prodigal Summer, Slaughter House Five, and Catcher in the Rye. There are too many to name, but those are a couple that I have recently re-read.

I like J.D Salinger's The Catcher in The Rye, Those Halo books by Eric Nylund, and Anthony Horrowitz's writing, mainly the Alex Rider series.

Wow...I love reading, so I have quite a few favorites.Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas will quite possibly top my list. Just an excellent book overall.Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger was good, but a bit annoying for me. I actually just finished reading it last week. I dunno, it just seemed a bit repetitive in parts.Along Came a Spider by James Patterson...I want to pick up the next books in this Alex Cross series, but I haven't been to the book store in forever. If you've seen the movie with Morgan Freeman in it, the book is COMPLETELY different and WAY better...like most book-to-movies.Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns was an excellent book about childhood maturation and life in the Old South.1984 by George Orwell...ugh. I hated this book. Hated. Really repetitive and boring for me, and I despised the ending. Good concept, just didn't like the execution.Black Order by James Rollins was one of last year's bestsellers...picked it up on a whim in a Barnes and Noble and was pleasantly surprised. While I'm not sure how accurate its science was, the neo-nazi storyline was absolutely excellent.Yellow Raft in Blue Water by Michael Dorris...excellent book with quite a unique narration. 3 generations of women in the same family share the narration as divided into 3 sections, providing a very interesting flow and perspective of the story by the conclusion of the novel. The Crystal Shard trilogy by R.A. Salvatore was my favorite of Salvatore's books, and that's quite the title for an author of his caliber.I don't feel like looking up author's names or the names of the books, but the 3 Diablo books and the 6 Warcraft books were absolutely superb. They introduced me to Richard Knaak, one of my now-favorite writers.Gah, now I wanna read...
