Yeah! I second that! That's one of the best adventure novels ever! Movie was good too.

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess and Lolita by Vladmir Nabokov are my two favorite books. I read them both over the span of three days, one right after the other about a year ago.

The Little Prince and Seven Habits for Highly Effective Teens? ;); Saying the latter made me feel a little dorky. But it's a good book. :3

my favorite books are clockwork orange and for some reason a book called the Thief Lord. It's about a rich kids who pawns all his stuff to make money for orphan kids. I don't recall the details but there is something about a carasoul that makes you into an adult and stuff. Takes place in Italy. also I loved the redwall series. Still one of my favorite series.

I can never quite decide if it's the Count of Monte Cristo or Pride and Prejudice. Which answer I give you will depend on the moment, suppose.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. And just so that I can say more than one, I'm picking the big, 5 book copy. Cheating? Maybe. Awesome book? Yes.
